Why do women want to save a relationship that was interrupted by infidelity?
Because they chose to forgive themselves for not being more attentive to their man??
Greek One!!!! I'm surprised by your statement! You're insinuating it's the woman's fault her man cheated!! Bad boy.
You? Provoke outrage? Naw... your too tender and soft-hearted.
I was soft and tender... but thanks to modern medicine..
I'm not going to make a comment re "seen that one coming" because this is a family website....
and because, like my ex, it would just be too easy
You're too much, Greeky! Now don't take that outta context, you bad boy!
Haha, and then I was about to say.. "I walked into that one".. but then again you could have turned that around.. awww...
I don't know, but I'd like to give all you women a chance to even the score! Email me for no strings attached sex.
you're right... this IS a dating site afterall....
email sex, that's a new one on me! how does that work? is it good for you?
lol.. I like the word 'interrupted'!
On a serious note, lots of reasons:
- children!
- love, despite all.
- habit...
- too many 'memories'...
- lack of courage to break free or live on one's own/ low self esteem at times...
- societal pressure
- lack of other options/ financial dependence
I'm sure there are many others too...since every individual and relationship is different...
oh...the 'solution' requires a whole different list altogether!
there you go again with your 'chop off his penis' idea again
there you go jumping to conclusions again!
And was that my idea...or yours? um... slip of the tongue...?
slip of the tongue is what can get a guy in trouble in the first place!
Aren't you the girl who once used a dull machete on a poor guy's ... oh, never mind.
yep, they taught me that at a Taliban camp once: in our culture the man is of course forgiven the affairs... just beheaded for his beliefs! Some crazy people where I come from....
Maybe, sometimes, a person (husband, wife or long-term partner) simply feels there are more important things to their relationship than an occasional fling?
yes, it's a lot more complicated than we imagine, isn't it? I know so many women and men in similar situations.... strangely enough, more people are 'desperate' to make things work once they've had an affair on the side....
I know if the show was on the other foot, i couldn't continue in the relationship...
Not just because of the cheating, but because of the long distance relationship aspect (since I will be in jail some place after having killed her lover)
Ladies just come to Hokey and never worry about cheating again!
Love, and for the hope that the person realizes his/her mistakes and doesn't do it again.
this thread is getting CRAZIER by the moment!!!
(u know that when there are more smileys than words!!)

If cheating is a “deal breaker” for you: Does it carry a statue of limitation?A 99-year old Italian man is filing for divorce after discovering letters from an affair his wife had over 60 years ago. They have been married for 77 years. She reportedly confessed but was unable to convince him to stay....

Any and all thoughts/opinions will be appreciated. I would especially appreciate any feedback from the women out there (fellas you can chime in as well, but it is the woman's point of view that I am after! The scenario: Boyfriend asks girlfriend pointblank if she slept with another guy (whom...
