   What do you believe? once saved always saved or it is possible to lose ones salvation?

   Jesus was nailed on the cross once...once we accept Him and believe in the saving power of His blood in the cross then that's it. We don't want to nail Him again.

   Renouncing Christ is also another way to knowingly & willingly reject our free salvation.
   
   Another way to lose one's salvation is to take the mark of the beast & worship him."A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If ANYONE worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of THE SAINTS who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus' " (Rev. 14:9-12).

   Once saved always save. If you are a Christian you are saved until the day of redemption.
   
   You may find someone that is giving lip serve, but not saved. Remmember Jesus said my sheep know my voice and come to me. The devil in hell can not take them out of my hand.
   
   If the devil could take them out of the hand of Jesus, it would mean the devil is stronger than Jesus, and that is not going to happen!

   Once saved you will always be saved if you stay with Jesus.  You can and will lose your salvation if you turn to sin rather than staying in the grace of God.
   
   Come out from amongst them be ye separated saith the Lord, touch not the unclean things and I will receive you. 2 Cor. 6:17

   I don't believe you can "lose" your salvation like you "oops, I lost my wallet."  You can forfeit it through hardening your heart and deafening your ear to Holy Spirit and eventually denounce Christ.

   Once saved, always saved based on Romans 8:38-39.  Most folks will say that Jesus won't throw you out of His hand and Satan can't snatch you out.  Some say you have the free will choice to walk away.  Well, "any other created thing" in this passage includes your supposed free will, so you can't walk away.
   If folks do, as in John 6:66 (interesting verse number, btw), they never were saved in the first place, but just tiptoed around it...maybe for years and years.
   Oh, there's also John 15:16 where Christ declares we did not choose Him, but He did us and Eph. 1:4-5 that talks of our being "in Christ" before the foundation of the world.

   Those who are really saved, will not lose their salvation. Those that claim to be saved but do not live the life that they promised to live, but have some tough questions to answer.

   Once saved always saved is what we as Christians by faith believe. There is but one way one can lose salvation and that is through blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Christ tells us that this is an unforgivable and irreversible sin that will not be forgiven.

    No. I do not believe we lose salavation once we accept Jesus Christ. That salvation is given to all who seek it. However I do beleive we can slip away from God and lose sight of His mercy. Our salvation is not removed from us, I believe. It is a constant. God is waiting patiently for us to find our way back to HIm.

       What happens when someone slips away from God, loses sight of his mercy, and never return or regain his sight? Does he still get salvation?

    "As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly" and "a washed sow returns to the mud" (2 Pet. 2:22; Prov. 26:11). Consider the parables of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15) and "The Lost Sheep" Matt. 18: 12-14; Luke 15: 3-7). The son and sheep were not always astray, and the sheep was found and the son returned on his own. The dog spewed out, and was free of the sick vomit, didn't it? But, it lapped it up again. The sow was clean before she got muddy, wasn't she? The unwise virgins returned with their oil, but they were too late to enter the bride chamber (Matt. 25: 1-13). They got what they needed, but too late. Did they lose their Salvation?

       Lucifer resided in Heaven and was lead singer in the Heavenly choir. He had salvation and lost it when he fell to evil.

    I used to think that it was possible to lose (as in taken away) your salvation. I often used a verse in Revelation that says for those who overcome and endure I will not blot out their names from the Book of Life, as one of my supporting verses to that belief. But I recently asked others to share what they believe concerning salvation...Once saved always saved or is it possible to lose your salvation. There were a lot of great answers, which led me to rethink my position. I still believe we can read more

    Well-IMHO I think that while good beginnings don't necessarily mean good endings, I think that messing up is normal. If someone backslides, realizes what they have done and is honestly asking for God's forgiveness-that it is theirs.
    
    I have heard it is possible to get erased from the book of life and grieve the holy spirit, however I don't really want to find out how to manage that. I'm a big enough screw-up on my own, thanks.
    
    God will still love me if I were to make a commitment to him, backslide, realize what I've done, then come back to him honestly wanting to make my path right again. I don't think it makes me a fake or a liar or an unbeliever. I think it makes me human and means that God is still working on my heart. It probably also improves the message of God's Grace. After all-where would we be without it? Acting the part?
