Do you think that all religious paths lead to the same deity, higher power or creative energy?
If yes, why and if not, why not?
No, all religions are not focused on the same thing at all. The problem starts with super-natural things which do not exist in the real world being elevated and given deity status in the minds of irrational followers who do not see clearly that nature is the foundation of all life forms including us homosapiens.
All the creative energy within us, we can learn to unfold and to build on using our rational minds without resorting to dead-end religious mythology!
As religions are invented by man to try and work out the delusion of the mundane world, they presumably lead to the same illusory result.
NO,
If I am focused on beaches, I will not be satisfied with fields of green...
If I am focused on greenery, flat lands can not satisfy me.
The child of the prairie will be lost in the mountains.
The mountain dweller will feel lost in the vastness.
To truly know, you must either be, vastly experienced or truly called.
I do, believe, that each of us, seeks our God......the question is this...........
by what shall you know
God?
By whatever means that leads you to God, we must all, acknowledge.....
that GOD alone, is God.
'all' religious paths?? obviously not!
Some religions are all about law and obedience while waiting for a reward in the future or after death. Those beliefs will not allow for higher power or creative energy to be experienced in the present moment.
In one sense, no religion can lead to deity, higher power or creative energy because once you call yourself a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, etc., you identify with a concept of pride which blocks the Truth and Light that only a humble surrender will allow to be experienced.
I believe that most religions lead to the same Higher Power and the rules, rituals and beliefs of the various religions were created to meet the needs of the congregation. I don't believe in a lot of them ( ex: praying to the Virgin Mary) but my God does not punish those who don't know better.
The answer is not in the Religion, but in the individual seeker. God can be found through contemplating an ant as well as in any and every religious organization. God is most easily accessed within, however when we recognize that God is everwhere present, we will regognize that there is no competition, no 'other'. Only different frequencies from within the One Source Energy Field. There is absolutely nowhere that God is not. Many Rich Blessings.
Depends oun you out look. Let us say that thee is indeed on creator and that is a fact. Then logically, if we wanted to return to the source we would all ahve to return to the one creator. The answer would then be yes. This creator would have been responsible for all the religions by definition.
If on belives that God is true All Powerful, All Knowing, And Everywhere in existence, then the only being doing anything would Be God, we would be parts of God, because God is everywhere i.e in all atoms and sub atomic particles. God would have all power, therefore we would only move by God's will, and God would know past present and future to the most minute detail in all existence.
Religion means to re align, so if we wanted to go back home to our source, then there can be only one.
I hope this helped.
Best wishes

If atheists do not believe in a higher power, then what do they actually BELIEVE in?...I've always wondered about an atheist's way of getting through life. Do they actually believe in anything? Are they considered to be bias if they believe that there is no god?

Is the God of the Bible, the same as the God of the Koran, and Bhagavad-Gita.If there is one God, why so many different "scriptures". Why not just one book that tells the entire history of planet Earth and the entire cosmos?

So many people insist that Atheism is detrimental to society while religion enhanced society. Hmmm, now let us see this objectively instead of subjectively. Religions have been the source of wars and other types of divisions among humankind. Religions have also been the source of...

Why do you feel that many people have deserted a particular religion or simply chosen not to followHave the major religions not moved with the times? As an agostic i'd like to see what others feel and see?

Just a question, but it would seem if there really were no God, then Atheists couldn't exist. Is Atheism a religion? They definitely seem to be unified by a common belief.
