What do YOU think it means to be a Christian?
I have found that there are many different beliefs and opinions about Christianity. Do you consider yourself a Christian and if so what do you feel it entails?
For me, it means taking God at His word and living my life according to his word.
Me? I think it means to do your best to live by Christ's example, and when you fail (and you will; none of us are perfect), resolve to keep trying.
But I'm a bit of a heretic.
To be Christ like. Not make excuses for errors but to follow and maintain a pattern of life that upholds what Christ Jesus did in doing the will of his Father.
It means to be separated from the world in what we do and say..
how we do and say it..and the reasion for saying and doing so.
One of my hubs is base on that:
"How to Know when you are Saved"
It means to realize we're sinners and Jesus Christ is the only way to be forgiven and saved, acceptable to our holy God. Once we confess this truth and ask Him to be Lord of our lives, we rely on Him and His Word to do His will ~ birthed out of loving Him with all our heart, soul, strength and mind and also loving our neighbor as ourselves.

Jesus was born a Jew, but some Christians hate Jews, why?The first Christains were Jews. The apostles were Jews. Jews gave us the scriptures. So, why do some Christians hate Jews so much? When Christ comes back He is going to go to the JEWS and claim them as his people. What say ye haters of Jews?...

There's a lot of going back and forth about how Christians are this that or another. Yet no one ever pins down exactly what specific belief it is that makes Christians delusional, or hateful or whatever. The fact is that not all Christians believe the same thing, and not even members of our own...
