Knowledge is knowing that ignorance is not bliss, but rather, self deception and the comfort of illusion. Knowledge is key in the understanding that enables freedom...from worry, from change, from the ignorance that imprisons everything truly fulfilling in life.
New and improved bliss...seriously. I suppose its ok to be ignorant on something that really doesn't effect you or someone else, but generally its the opposite.
Knowledge is bliss also,
because if you do not understand the knowledge you have it is as if you didn't know it at all.
Knowledge is a burden.
If you have knowledge of good and evil, right and wrong, then you either need to make the right choices in life (which are often the hardest) or make the wrong choice and live with the guilt of knowing you could have done better.
That's why even people who 'should know better' often still feign ignorance out of fear/selfishness/sloth.
...wow, I sound bitter today!
Knowledge is evil.... cause then you feel the need to share it regardless of whether someone wants the knowledge or not
Scientia potentia est; knowledge is power.
The power to change the world and advance society. To remain blissfully ignorant is to live in denial.
Knowledge is and gives you the ability to live this life on the earth successfully by applying wisdom and common sense to live on the earth as an human being made in the image and likeness of GOD.
misery. misery loves company and knowledge is the result.
