Longing. I have a vague memory of longing for God when I was four years old, and I have a distinct experience of looking at the star studded sky when I was six, and really yearning to be with God with all my little strength. At the age of 29-30 I experienced what I can only describe as very intense burning longings for God. For me it's always been longing.
Reconciliation: Or The Joy Of It, Returning Home and Knowing I was never Abandoned, Alone, or Forgotten by my Father our Father and Creator.
Inseparable is the one word that I would use to describe my love for God.
I don't know if it is possible to do this. There are is so much to His character, and He himself lists all the "I Am's" in the Bible that are vast and varied. I believe that if it took one word it would be obedience. Because that represents giving up all to follow Him. Great question.
If you love the creatures of God, you are loving God. Therefore the one word that describes the love for God is nothing but "LOVE".
Obedience- "Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him."- John 14:21.
I would also say grateful because of what he did for me.
Constant....God is the only constant lasting thing in our lives...
LOVE. Love alone is the one word answer to express your love to God.
One who knows how to love all, be it a human being, animal or plant, s/he is the one who loves God. If we love all that is the way we can best serve God.
Therefore, the one word to express our love to God is LOVE only.
"Faith" is the only word which comes in my mind! I believe God helps us all the time. Its we who forgets him in happy times and ask for his help when we are in trouble. Therefore, having faith in GOD all the time is my love for him!
