   Here are some ignored facts about Jesus in scripture.
   
   Behold this 'wrathful' Old Testament prophecy concerning Jesus, from the bible: "Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. [Psalms ch 2; to be fulfilled when he returns to take the Jewish throne; see Revelation ch 19 for the gory details involving himself on a horse followed by the armies out of heaven]. He alluded to this himself when he said "and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." The bible talks about the "times of the Gentiles" when the heathen (you) get to have their hayday before he returns to kill them, thinking all is well: "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (bible)
   
   Here's the bit in the bible about his genocide of the heathen:
   
   "And the armies which were in heaven followed him (Jesus) upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
   
   "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword;
   
   "And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
   
   "That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and
   
   the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great." (Revelation 19:14-18)
   
   
   And the Jesus preached in your church is the Jesus of scripture?

    the bible is written by different people in different times, there is inconsistency on the content, it is a subject of different interpretation. Yes, the passages are indeed genocidal, only if you believe that there is God and HE mastermind to write the bible through people and the spirits...what is the connection of the Bible with a GOD, it is not a figment of the mind only, or so that people will have justifications and solutions for the things they cant fathom......

    Being on the top of the food chain, we forget that we live in a  opportunistic parasitic and predatory world. Is it genocide for a wolfs to kill the sheep, or the rancher to kill the wolfs, or the butcher to kill the cows, to set a mouse trap, or swat a fly or to spray for termites.
         Do we not kill all of the rattlesnakes and hornets nests before we build a town over them.
         We are the genocidal opportunistic parasites when looking from the other side of the issue.
         It is natural for us to relate to God as being like us if we were created in his image.

    Since I don't have a problem with the death penalty, I don't have a problem with all evil people being destroyed at all. Why would anyone want serial killers, child rapists, kidnappers, etc., to stay alive?

    As I said earlier in this post.  Being at the top of tha food chain we are allowed to forget that this world is established upon the precept that all things are opportunistic, predatory,and or paradisaical in nature. There has to be turmoil on one side of the fence or the other.
        Let God sort it out.  I don't think that he wants for me to worry  too much about his business.   Just do my best to be the best me  that I can be and try ta not hurt nobody.
        And see if I can trick anybody into behavin like that too. 
         As long as that don't hurt nobody!!!!!
