To help a poor child in his education, to feed a hungry human being for at least one time, to save the life a helpless animal and to help in getting job to a struggling young poor boy are the aims after getting success in these motto, I will feel that my life is somewhat meaningful.

Focusing on the beauty of life itself and the blessings I have. There's the obvious my family, friends, home, career etc. but I try to take time daily to focus on gratitude for things we tend to take for granted - the beauty of the tree in my yard, the abundance from the garden I grew, amazing sunsets etc. I think when we purposely look for things to be grateful for and to appreciate, it gives real depth and meaning to life daily.

Lots of things. Faith, ethics, doing the right thing, producing a more humanitarian society where people understand each other and look after the other. Life needs to have a purpose, we need to enjoy it, but we need to take care of it, and establish the principles that would make us role model citizens.

Being awake and aware, to and of, everything; without that, there is no meaning.

Sorry, badly worded: Being awake to, and aware of, everything.

The love of Jesus gives my life meaning..... Everything I do has its roots in the foundation of His love toward me.

Helping others, so that they are inspired to help others, is my small goal in life; this good samaritan attitude gives meaning to my life, at least, as a Muslim..

My faith, my family, my friends in that order. Good food is definitely a plus and I love to cook, present and eat what I have prepared. I also think it is extremely important to do something you love be it your job, volunteering, a hobby, whatever. I love to write and find real satisfaction in doing so here on Hub Pages. I enjoy seeing that my work is being read and appreciate the comments and feed back that I get here. There is much talent displayed here everyday. Folks like yourself, who's work should be showcased and this site provides an outlet for that.

Life itself gives meaning to my life. I have made a living, all my life helping others to have a better quality of Life. I have helped people "to have Life, and to have Life more abundantly." This is the purpose for which I exist upon the globe. So, there you have it. Life gives meaning to my life.
    Regards,
    Dr. Haddox

I am still looking in to God's "dictionary" to find the meaning of my "life"!

Great answer. I wish the dictionary was easier to search-- but, then, the search may be an important part of the meaning.

Everything... I dunno, life's just amazing, and I like to relish it.

I mean, there are the big things: family, friends, my faith & relationship with my Gods, art, career, etc.

Then there are the little things-- like stepping out on the porch in the morning with all those fragrant herbs and the warm sun shining. Or the scent of a cup of tea when you first hold it up to take a sip. Or the way chocolate melts on your tongue. A good belly-laugh. A good cry.

I just like to experience it-- the texture of things, the smell of things, the sound of things, the colors and the shapes-- I suppose I'm easily amused but I can be endlessly fascinated by what others consider absolutely nothing. But to me, it's all just an amazing experience.
