Urgent need of prayers

   My new granddaughter stopped breathing last evening and turned blue. After they suctioned her out more, she was okay, but they hooked up a heart monitor to her. Overnight, her heart rate dropped. They've done all kinds of tests, which were all negative. The doc thinks she's going to be fine, but I'm worried sick. PLEASE say a prayer for her if you're a praying person! Thanks.

   Absolutely Habee. I hope everything will be fine. My daughter turned blue when she was 3 years old! It was the only time it ever happened and she is 28 now. They did all sorts of tests and so on.
   
   It is terrifying, but at least they have these monitors and Doctors know so much more now than they did when our kids were small.

   I just talked to my daughter, and the baby had another episode this morning, so now she can't leave the nursery. They're running more tests. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

    As someone said above, "absolutely", Habee.  It's a scary thing, but newborns can have those "bugs" (for lack of a more appropriate term) to work out in their first days.  Chances are this could be that kind of thing.   
    
    (My nephew had a "blue" episode as a newborn.  He's turning 29 today. )

    Thinking of you - my son did this immediately after birth - the only time, he is now a pain in the *** but very healthy 30 years old.
