So we moved in about a week or so ago.  My husband was doing some research on the town when he ran across a youtube video of a haunted apartment... Cute right?  Until we really got looking at the video and realized that it was our apartment.

    The pics:

    The youtube video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHFg33yjRPI

LMAO!  The irony is that I ghost hunt for piss and giggles.  Someone could have told me.

I know I would after seeing the "ghosts" in these shots. I'd sleep like a baby! lol
Just how far out in the boonies is this place? You have nutters for neighbours it seems to me if the townies peddle this sort of tripe! lol

It's podunk earnest, but it's less podunk than where I was before smile

Its a creepy building... not as creepy as the old hotel across the street, but creepy enough.  The old buildings usually are.  Do I believe the pics on their website... not really.  But the top one of mine was taken by a digital camera and has a buttload of orbs.  Not sure if that really means anything but there it is.

LOL, but I did manage to freak myself out enough to leave the hall light on last night.

BTW, I've been reading some of your posts this morning.  You are in rare form today wink

Most of the ghost vids on youtube are faked. Chroma suits are so cheap now.

Thanks for the mention. But some ghost videos and photos are not faked. I see ghosts, orbs, and mists all the time that no one including me can explain.

The house I currently live in is very haunted. I have had to nail my back door shut to keep it closed. It is nothing living that opens the door. It is a spirit. Just a few minutes ago it threw something in the kitchen. I have not yet gone in there to see what it did this time. It quite often likes to open and slam the cabinet doors in the kitchen and throw all the loose toilet paper out of the cabinet in the bathroom. So yes I very much believe in spirits and know they are very real.

Here is a picture we took tonight, you'll recognize the hallway if you looked at their pictures... (although our lighting is slightly better)

and this is the door where the "demon girl" showed up in their pics...

Again with better lighting... although the effect is kinda creepy at night if the hall is dark but the light is on in the room.

I so think I am gonna write a hub about this.

Podunk. smile Not a term I'm familiar with, but being as I am ignorant as goat poo ya get that. Still, I have Google! lol

I hope you can enjoy your new abode without too many bumps in the night. We have 4 animals that make all our bumps in the night so if zombies took over the house I would be the last one to suspect them or hear them coming.
I have had a solid day today, and a bit of fun, I hope some silly thing I have said or done brightened someone's day! smile

Looks like the previous occupiers were a little crafty with Photoshop I think Melissa.

That demon girl pic was a nice touch.

I couldn't stop laughing when I seen the picture of the "ghost". I agree great Photoshop job , lol . If they want real ghosts maybe they should stay with me a week or so.

This sounds like a great opportunity to have a "ghost hunter" outfit come in and do a report on what they find. Then, a "ghost debunker" group could also do a report and give you their opinion.

Comparing the two reports might make a great hub.

    Happy Halloween.
