One is only disappointed when he/she look in the wrong place for the right answer. Take it as it come, and call it like you see it and you will never live in disappointment. Just a word to the wise.

I thought it was good for a laugh. The few gloom and doomers out there can do alot of damage, especially when they attract the attention of the weak and emotionally scarred.

Sucked in by people who confirmed what the believers wanted to believe.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?  The Preachers or the Believers?

Yes, a very good laugh, but so serious when you throw away all your money for the preachers to pick up.  Didn't your kids need that money more?

Most likely very lonely and bored individuals, looking for acceptance and recognition.

Thank you so much for this link.  Too funny.  I agree that 2012 will be the next great disappointment for some people.  Not for me, though. I'll be happy to see another day, another year.

For those expecting the Rapture to hit and spirit them up to the sky on 12/21/12, yes, it will be a  big disappointment.
That is not what the end of the Mayan calendar signifies.
Not the end of the world.
    Dawning of a new age.
I'm trying not to have expectations, but it would be oh so lovely if it is an ENLIGHTENED age with thinking people instead of gullible sheeple.

Live for the moment, one day at a time.

Every moment is a blessing, especially when the next moment could be the last. Every moment is the first and every past moment is gone.

Totally misunderstood by those who most need to be aware of it.

On 12-21-12 the world as we know it will surely end. Does that every new day. Every morning, the world we knew has passed.

Agreed Mom!  Each moment in time has a Universe of information for us.  We tap into the 4th Dimension.  It only needs "Me" to open up the window, hang out the antenna, tune in and listen to that "still small voice."  Some would call it the Holy Spirit.  Some would say it is "OM Namah Shivia."  "The Divine Hint."

Whatever name you use, it cannot be heard unless one drops the guard.  All preconceptions need to be thrown out of that window first.  Let the Breath of Fresh Air come in and bathe your entire being.  Be quiet.  Be still.  Be humble.

JCL, I'm not sure how many are even aware.
I think less misunderstanding and more ignorance.
For most, just plain ignorance. Haven't a clue and will never get a clue.
For those in power, willfull ignorance. Doesn't fit with their agenda.
