I had to laugh when I read this because Southern British Columbia weather is not cooperating.  It reminds me of March or May weather. Remember that song from Carousel about June? "...May was full of promises, but she didn't keep it quick enough for some..."  It is cold and wet this week.

You haven't really breathed Colorado air until you breathe it from the top of a 14,000 foot peak that you climbed yourself. The view from the top cannot be described in human words. I'll try, though. It's an ocean of blue depths and white breakers, and you're on an island, surrounded by this great expanse. In this ocean there are other islands: bare, rugged, made of moon-rock and brownies. read more

I just saw this page, but I've been writing on this topic for the last two days...

I found a couple of videos of people being very creative and designing their varieties on accepted games like hockey, soccer, and frisbee golf.

I also just made on hub on how to design your own ladder ball set. If you've never heard of it, ladder ball is a fun outdoor activity game.

I plan to do a lot of horseback riding this summer, myself.  That's a good summer activity for all ages.  I know horseback riding is not for everybody, though.  Swimming is also a good summer activity for all ages, in my opinion.  I love to swim, also, and I plan to do this some this summer , too.
