Weekly Topic Inspiration: Shoreline Adventures-tell us about your exciting Summer water adventures!

Since we are facing the sunny summer months, what about sharing your best summer vacations that centered around water/shoreline adventures (lakes, beaches, ponds, creeks, rivers, spillways, dams, and even pools)?  These are places that are always enjoyed in the summer months, and usually make for great vacation photography opportunities. The topic could easily tie in with grilling topics, vacation topics, and family/parenting topics as well; making for some useful and helpful linking. Handy map capsules to help find your favorite spot would be spectacular!

I enjoy riding the central city's People Mover monorail out over the water where I can see more of the riverfront and the developments that are ongoing in Detroit. The island in the river is another world. read more

Crooked Creek Campground near Chapman Lake Indiana changed my life and was an inspiration for who I have became as an adult, a wife, and a mother. I still love the water. After my first two children were born we continued to camp at my parent's site at Crooked Creek Campground. In 1997, my parent's moved to Phoenix, Arizona to live. They put up the trailer and camp site to sale. I have many good memories and still was able to get married later in the year. Now I have been married for almost 26 years and my family lives in a gated housing development along a lake. To find out more about this summer water adventure. You truly need to read the hub about Chapman Lake. Keep Reading
