Natural home made remedies for dry skin
Winters always make my skin dry. I have to regularly moisturize my skin every time otherwise it gets very dry. Post pregnancy, my skin seems to be even more dry. Thankfully my mom came to my rescue, she handed me a list of home made remedies which made my skin less dry and now it is almost back to normal. Hopefully these tips help the readers with ry skin too.
- Always be hydrated. If there is a shortage of water in your body then your skin is bound to get dry. So remember to drink plenty of water everyday.
- Mix coconut oil or olive oil and use as body lotion before and/ or after bath. You can even apply the oil individually.
- Even sesame oil is known to reduce dryness in the skin.
- A bath soaking in water and milk does wonders to your skin.
- Eat plenty of fruits.
- Mix lemon juice with any oil of your preference and apply on your body. Leave it overnight and wash the next day with warm water.
- Mix a few drops of rose water, lime juice and one tsp each of olive oil, egg yolk and orange juice. Apply this mixture daily just before bath and wash after 15 minutes with warm water.
- You can even add some sugar and this will make a good scrub.
