What cities are on your bucket list?
Are there cities or places you've always dreamed of visiting? Which ones do you really hope to get to someday?
I've always wanted to go to New Orleans. And Thessaloniki, Greece, because my daddy was stationed there during the Vietnam war and still talks about how beautiful it is. Also, Brecon, Wales, because my first ancestor that came to the US came from there in 1600's. I guess I better get walking.
New Orleans would be a fun place to visit, I'm sure and any city in Greece or Wales would be fine with me. I can see why those two cities in particular would be on your list. You better pack a bathing suit for your walk/swim.
I have a long list!!! but near the top are Key West, Florida; Dublin, Ireland; Barcelona, Spain; and lately London has been seemingly more appealing! I really regret not doing a study abroad program in college because it would be so fun to visit a city abroad and stay there for a month or three months and actually feel like you live there. Who knows maybe i'll makes so much money on hubpages i'll be able to!! (lol i can always dream!)
I'd love to go to Barcelona or London too. And Dublin. And maybe Key West, too. Gee, my list of places to visit seems to be growing longer since asking this question!
I second New Orleans. After seeing Skyfall I've been pretty obsessed with Shanhai as well.
New Orleans seems to be a popular choice. I haven't seen Skyfall yet - maybe I'll have to add Shanghai to my list after I see it too.
Paris, France. Rome, Italy. Actually, just about every major European city. I've been to Prague and London and would not mind going back.
I've never been to Europe. All of those cities are on my list!
I'm sure those would all be very interesting places to visit. Best of luck in getting to them all.
Vancouver - I have dreamed about making it out west since I was a kid (I'm from Ontario.. Canada is just such a big country, it's hard and expensive to see a lot of my own country)
London, Dublin, Glascow.. Anywhere in the UK really... Paris and Rome as well...
Oh! And Sydney australia!!
Sooo many places, so little time. lol
I live in Canada too, and I know what you mean about seeing everything. I've been to Vancouver twice and loved it. Once was during the 2010 Winter Olympics - that was an incredible experience. Victoria is beautiful too.
FROM INDIA : SPITI ( HIMALAYAS )
OUTSIDE INDIA : DUBAI , SWITZERLAND , NEW ZEALAND , RIO DE JANERIO
My top two are Istanbul & Mumbai, although places like Tokyo and Buenos Aires are high on my list as well.
Good luck in getting to the places on your list
I'd really like to visit San Francisco some day. I think it would be fun to ride in one of the trolley cars on the steep streets taking photographs of the colorful buildings along the way!
San Francisco is definitely on my list too!
I do have quite a few! I'd love to visit at least some of these before I die.
Dublin, Berlin, Rome,Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Venice, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Tokyo.
Great list! A lot of those cities are on my bucket list too.
Although I'm not sure where Belo Horizonte is - I'll have to look it up!
There are many people out there who have a bucket list filled with things they want to do before they die and not just popular vacation spots. One of the things people like to put on their bucket list is places to visit before you die and that got me thinking of what do I want to do before I die.. so here are the top 5 places to see before you die based on my personal bucket list. read more
I was hoping someone would make a hub to answer this question! Heading over to read it now...
Tokyo , New York, Vienna and lots more. But these 3 are at the top of my list.
I've been to New York, but not the other two. I would love to see them someday too.

For me, it's a toss up between New York and San Francisco. I love the older type cities built for walking, with real neighborhoods, and small open markets. I loathe places like Phoenix which are nothing but ugly highways and big box stores. Yuck. Plastic.

What was/is on your bucket list?Write down an experience or achievement that was once on Your Bucket List and you've completed it. And also share another item from your wish list that's to be done in the future. My completed bucket list item was: visiting Rome, Italy again after many years....
