Is it just me? I usually gets quite a few notices of new hubs, although they've been showing up in my bulk folder. But I haven't gotten any at all in two or three days! Is no one publishing new hubs, or has my Yahoo mailbox gone bonkers?
I didn't get any for about a day, which was really odd. But I think it is back to normal now.
I didn't receive any either since last night. I just checked and wonder of wonders Hubpages:Tuesdayclue just descended out of cyborspace only 7.5 hrs late. zs
I've gotten a ton. Not so many when I looked this morning, although there were a handful that were published overnight...but when I checked a few minutes ago, everything seemed normal. Seems fine to me.
Mine were gone for about a day, but back to normal now.
I used to get them all the time. Then nothing. And now they're sporatic and few. I know we've all been pushing out hubs, but I get maybe 2 or 3 every other day. And it's usually from the same 2 people. And, they're usually a day old.
I tend to get a comment or two, but again, they're usually after the fact.
Whitney I'm in the same boat. I just received two new hubs published. Thats it You alone have put out quite a few hubs in the past few days alone but no email letting me know. I thought it was my server but I guess not. greetings zs
Yea I know. Stacie puts out like 10 a day, and I've never received anything from her. I don't know what's up. I just try to check out the site and hubber hubtivity when I log in to see what I missed.
I have not received a single email from HubPages in the past week. I've done everything that was suggested, but to no avail. I haven't received the newsletter either. Is all hope lost?

Hallelujah. I just received emails giving notice of two comments to my hubs. Things are looking up. The good fairy must be working behind the scenes!
I hope I'm not beating a dead horse, but I'm really puzzled. Since my last post a month ago I've only received a few emails notifiying me of new hubs by the fan clubs. Has HubPages changed its policy on emails or am I the only one who has this problem? I've looked around to see if there's been any further comment on this, but I wasn't able to find any. Could someone enlighten me?
William, do you have your email settings set to allow mail from hubpages? You are sure it isn't hitting the spam folder?
Who do you use for email? It has been discussed on the forums before that some emails don't do well with getting your messages to you, like hotmail.
Yes, Stacie, I've checked my settings. They are OK. They are not going into my bulk folder, either. In the last three or four weeks, I've only received about four or five emails from HubPages, and none in the last week. My get my emails through Yahoo, which is my home page. I don't think it's connected, but in the last week or so my Yahoo homepage is taking more than a minute to come up... until it comes up the message says the page has been found and it's waiting for a reply.
What would I do without you?
I'm not sure how dependable yahoo is. I use it for my "junk mail" - like when I have to enter an email address to sign up for something, and I'm not 100% sure they won't spam me.
I use gmail for everything else, and it has been very dependable.
Me too. About 95% of what I get through my Yahoo Mail account is spam, so I use it for site registrations. I use Gmail for real people and for sites that I know are dependable, mostly because delivery is immediate and dependable (although even it is guilty of the occasional false positive)
It looks like I'll have to consider going to gmail or somebody else for my emails. Like Scarlet, I'll think about that tomorrow. I owe you many thanks, Stacie.
