I noticed that this Canadian forum hasn't been touched for a while, so I'd like to ask fellow Canadians where you are from, and where else you have lived in Canada(if anywhere)?

I live in Winnipeg now, but I've lived in Alberta (Calgary and area, Fort Vermilion, Red Deer, Edmonton), Cranbrook, B.C. and in the Yukon.

    How about you guys?

I'm not yet a Canadian, prairieprincess. Apparently I'm a landed immigrant - as opposed to a hovering or floating immigrant, I presume.  My wife and I were both born in Scotland.

I live in St Raymond, Quebec, just outside of Quebec City.  But I have lived in Atikokan, Chapleau,(birthplace of Shania Twain...a real hole), Rainy River, Nakina (an even bigger hole), and Ottawa Ontario.  I have also lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba where I worked at Nicolino's Sorrentos and Rogers Video and got paid 5 dollars an hour smile

        Yes Cagsil

We have a friendly dictatorship in Canada; all in all it’s a balanced and happy place to live. I have a wasp background from London; now most of my time is specking Spanish and building an eco village on my own land in Belize.

Spend a lot of time working the art and entertainment in the USA also.

Enjoy your views on this forum.

I was born in the Philippines but my family came to Canada more than forty years ago.  Came to live in Toronto and never left.  Oh I lived in Ajax for 2 years, and lived in Texas for about 6 months.. but came back to Toronto as there is no place like home.. Toronto is home for me.

Well, Canada is a comfortable country, and if you like comfort (even small one) and "things"- it's hard to leave. I would love to go to my old country, but I don't want to miss all that comfort of a stable civilised country. I don't like cold showers or no showers. I guess I am a very spoiled creature. But Toronto drives me crazy. Too many people. http://serve.mysmiley.net/fighting/fighting0079.gif
