Article layout verses a video layout

   I tried to add a video into my article form the videos I have uploaded from my computer onto hubs, but that does not work, I can only add a video from an outside source, unless I make the article a video layout. When I start with adding the video I want to use, then I can't seem to drop the video box below a text Capsule, and I have not found a way to make that layout NOT a video layout?
   I also can't find a delete button for the hubs I'm trying out ( but do not want to keep)
   Sorry again for asking for help, but I have NOT found the answer to my two questions.

      It seems that the way in which you are doing it is the only way unless you wish to place your videos online. Then you can try copying the URL or the code into the video box of the capsule, in a regular Hub. I am not promising anything, I am only suggesting that.

         That is what I have done in the other articles already, but how much scope do we have in the video layout on Hubs? it seems less

      According to the Learning Center you can only use the following formats in the Video Capsule:
      "The Video Capsule allows you to embed online video content directly into your Hub. The Video Capsule supports video from BlipTV, Metacafe, Vimeo, and YouTube."
      You can have as many capsules as you like and place them where you want them.
      As you know if you want to make a Video Hub you can use the videos that you have uploaded to HubPages. However there is only one allowed per Hub and it stays at the top. (Similar to how Videos look on YouTube
      The other drawback is that once a Hub is a Video Hub it must stay a Video Hub, it cannot be changed back to a normal hub.

         Thanks that is what I wanted to know. So It cannot be done the way I wanted it to. Now I know.

      As far as deleting Hubs, that is pretty easy.  Click on the Hub you want to delete, click "edit".  Then, click "unpublish", and then click "delete".  It will remain available for 24 hrs, just in case you change your mind.

   You could post it to YouTube and use that link.

      Thanks for your reply Carola. Yes I know that, all these videos are already on Youtube, but I thought it was in my interest to add the video's from my uploads onto the hub site  into my article! If I create my whole article first and then make it a video layout , can I then add the video below the text  box?

         Video layout means video at the top................
         
         No way to change after you have turned the hub into a video.
         
         If you want text first then use the standard layout and put a video capsule below the text..

            Leanman -  The summery? When does that get displayed on a Video layout? I can't see mine when I look at the review? .
