      But seriously... it'd be a matter of taste. Some may think snow outside cuddled in front of a warm open fire is romantic. If beautiful sandy beaches are your thing then there's plenty of that.
      
      I recommend any of the beaches of Newcastle. Clean sand, not too hot (the beach is the last place I'd want to go in Queensland during summer) and not crowded. Great place to watch a sunrise. If you want a sunset to go with your beach then try Western Australia.

          There are many romanic places in Australia.Sydney
          Harbour Bridge is famous for romantic strollers.
          Australia is a vast country,continent actually.
          The beaches are to die for.The Northern Beaches in Sydney.
          Manly beach is beautiful.Beaches in Queensland are
          amazing,There is a little island off a town called
          Townsville.It is called Magnetic Island.Just an amazing
          Place.Buy a lonely planet book on Australia.It will help
          you find your way.Have a great journey down under.

   You want to try Mission Beach in North Queensland, just south of Cairns.  Miles of golden sand and the rainforest comes right down to the sea

      My son and his wife just got back from there. A must see for a romantic destination. I have been there too many years ago it is wonderfully romantic.

         I honestly have been on this Beach with my Wife Lana
         When I went to get her in Minsk and we left Russia for the last time. When we got back to the States, My parents gave us a suprise Honeymoon trip. We traveld the North Coast. It was something. Recomended to us by a Tour Guide who had been.
         
         P.S.
         If anyone ever tells you Tropical Rain Forests and sunsets do not necessarly lead to pregnancy....shoot them!

               So long as you're along the coast of our beautiful country you'll find the perfect spot for a romantic time wherever you are. Our beaches are long with beatiful white sands and clear waters, and outside of the major Cities they are relatively unpopulated - to the extent where you'll easily find yourself your own private romantic spot.  But for a luxury beachside holiday experience the Barrier Reef and Whitsundays are the best choices.

      My sis used to live and work at Airlie Beach Marissa ,and she loved it, even joined in as a crew member for the Whitsunday races (sailing). They won the best dressed crew event and appeared on the cover of the local rag- as mermaids!!!
