Hubpages just paid me $758 today!!!

   Wow wow wow! I just love getting emails from hubpages!
   
   I was gobsmacked when I got my payment from hubpages today and it state $758.17! I thought it was a mistake so I went into my earnings pages and discovered eBay has been very good to me this month!! I'm yet to earn from amazon but hubpages program and eBay are proving a hit this month for me. This is the largest amount I've ever earned on here so I'm a happy camper!
   
   So thank you hubpages!! I'm going shopping now and drinks on me for all my friends here!!

      I just started three days ago, so pay will be a long time off for me, but I want to ask you how they will even pay me if they haven't asked for my bank account, or a paypal account, yet. I had a paypal account a long time ago; I don't remember the password, and don't even recall the user name I used (it was a handle of some sort which I had used on ebay). Now, I don't know how to retrieve that info if I don't know either one. I don't see anything in the FAQ about when and how to submit info for this site to pay me. You look friendly. I will ask you!

         As far as I know you only get paid via paypal on here. So if you don't have a paypal account you wont be able to retrieve your earnings. On your account settings, if you haven't filled in any information, there's usually a page that prompts you to fill in adsense, amazon, ebay and Paypal details. I suggest you create a new paypal account and there is a link there to guide you on how to create a new account. At least that's how I remember it... hope this helps and welcome to Hubpages!

            No,  unfortunately it's quite opposite during the cool season.  I get about 5 months of really great payouts,  then it pretty much stops.

      I thought so too. This is actually my first payout on ebay. I usually only make like $102 every month from adsense and HP program, so this was a big surprise indeed.

   Wow Aneegma, well done! I need some tips, I am still waiting to get to my first $50. I think I have made about $10 from eBay, nothing from Amazon, and a $20 so far from Hub Pages and adsense. I need some tips from you. I am impressed.

      Hey John, to be totally honest, I haven't got the slightest clue how I ended up with those earnings!! All I do is write a hub once in a while and put ebay capsules on it and that's it really. I don't do any of those techie stuff on here neither do I do any marketing and anything. I'm guessing its probably the topics I write about is what people like to read. I too don't understand it all

    I made over $900 in a day on ebay before...*sorta*...one of the expensive purchases was returned....sooooo I *only* made around $200 that day.
    
    Ebay has ALWAYS been one of the best ways to make money on Hubpages....it's just not something one should expect to consistently earn an amount like Aneegma reports.
    
    ....unless one's just a lot better than me, which probably isn't hard to be.

    My goodness, I didn't realize it's possible to make that much in a month. I've heard veteran hubbers talk about it being so in the "old" days but I thought those days were gone. You are an inspiration. What an amazing blessing to follow your enormous loss. It's so nice to see you full of joy.

       You know, when I first saw the email I screamed "Ruru look!" then I realized he wasn't there so I cried a bit and then I thought well Ruru would want me to jump and down so I did. But the first thing I'm buying from my fortune here is a wreath for Ruru so I can top up the one that's there already that's already wearing out. So yeah I needed a lift after my devastating loss. I know lots of veteran hubbers who write brilliant hubs saying that don't make it to payout which is rather confusing to me. But thanks so much for your encouraging words.

    Congrats!  That is wonderful.  You must have sold one or more big ticket items on eBay!
    I've made a little money from eBay but nothing like that!  It is fun to go into the Hub and see what sold on eBay from that Hub. 
    Sometimes I'm surprised because the sale may not have anything to do with what I suggested in the capsule.

    When I looked at your Hubs, I saw a Hub about not celebrating Valentine's Day offering whiskey rocks for sale, and the Hub on disciplining your children is selling martial arts shoes.
    
    How are Hubs with completely unrelated products not only not being kept featured and not moderated with unrelated links/products but making these kinds of sales dollars?

       Hubs are not un-featured because they include ads not being consistent with their topics nor are hubs featured because ads are consistent with their topics.
