      I got my first sale today, too.  Actually, it was 7 of the same item... Congratulations!  Almost 1/2 way to my first Amazon payout.  It's encouraging anyway, huh?

         Congrats! One of my favorite parts of the day is when I go look to check my Amazon sales.
         
         I sold 12 items total last month, which totaled up to $15.37 for me.
         
         
         
         One of the funniest items that I've sold 3 of is the ManGroomer, which is a product that helps guys shave their back by themselves. They have all been purchased through this Hub (which was a HubMob Hub):

            Me, too! It has gotten to the point where I'm getting 1-2 Amazon sales a day and it's super exciting. Even if I only earn a few cents from a few of the sales (books). I wish it updated in real-time. Although maybe that's a good thing, because then I'd feel compelled to check it more than once a day.
            
            Last month, I sold 36 items and earned $40-something. One laptop ($25), a few dvd sets and 25 Amazon Video Downloads for the show Weeds. Other stuff included a cheap digital camera, pink tennis balls, books (that earn me around a penny lol) and some memory cards.
            
            I've earned about $30 of the $40+ dollars from stuff featured in my hubs, the other $15 is from items that the browser bought after clicking on one of my links (totally un-related items!). It's so interesting to see what some people buy. I love it.
            
            I am going to go back and put recipe books in all my recipe/dieting hubs because even if I only earn a penny or two from a book sale, it does help increase my number of items sold which increases the percentage rate each month. Back down to 4% this month.

    Congrats! I made .24 cents off my first sale lol. $5.00 from my second sale and $1.01 off of my last (and final sale, thus far)...
    
    The funny thing is, I only featured one of the items that made me money. The other two items were random things that the clickers must've found after visiting amazon from my links in my hubs. I got credited because the cookie was still in their browser history.
    
    Making sales on amazon is fun...just wish it happened more frequently!

    You have to sign up for the affiliate programs:  i.e. Amazon, Google, EBay.  The "Help" section at the top next to "Profile" will get you started.

    You've got to sell more expensive things if you want to make real money with Amazon on your hubs. Believe me, I'm an expert on this. Because I don't have an Adsense account I have focused solely on making maximum Amazon sales through my hubs. I consider myself to be the number one expert on Amazon and Hubpages revenue in the world.
