Depends on who you talk to ![]()
I say confident.
Confident, arrogant, and proud of it.
I would say confident. But I can get arrogant at times. But I only brag about stuff I can do. I try to swallow that up, but some people just bring out your old proud self. No kidding.

I'm glad you stated it as confident or arrogant because I do see them as opposing behaviors. When people are arrogant they aren't as confident in themselves as they could be to be really secure. Sure they may be confident they can handle some situation in that sense they may be confident or secure but obviously something is lacking if they have to make others feel belittled.
There is a difference between being proud and arrogant. You can be proud without making people feel like less.
confident at times..arrogant never.
nothing wrong with bragging about what you are good at in a joking way or way that doesn't make people feel bad

Neither?
(Um, I hope I don't get yelled at for adding a third choice ...)

Absolutely right.Great tip on bragging, you can also do it by quoting an example about you.

I am confident and confidence is quiet and unassuming.

I would like to add one comment on this. I had arrogance while and long after being in the Marines. I can truly say that I would have never progressed without finding humbleness.
there is no such word as humbleness, I think the word is humility..... congratulations anyway at finding humility.....
