Do you think you are more on the confident side or the arrogant side?

I'm glad you stated it as confident or arrogant because I do see them as opposing behaviors. When people are arrogant they aren't as confident in themselves as they could be to be really secure. Sure they may be confident they can handle some situation in that sense they may be confident or secure but obviously something is lacking if they have to make others feel belittled.

Neither. I'm gaining confidence with each passing day but I could never be arrogant.

It's funny how people don't see a beam in the eye. Re-read your response in MJ tickets thread, I see it as quite an arrogant smile

Maybe you'll have to help me. How was it arrogant? I barely have any confidence so its hard for me to be arrogant.

Sure, looks like all of us are arrogant at least time to time smile

You KNOW Micheal would have loved it, right? Chances are you are just assuming it. smile Why? Cause YOU think they SHOULD? "These opportunists" obviously think differently, yet in no subtle way you insist your thinking is right, and their thinking is wrong. smile

This is how I would have dissected such a post for myself, if I happened to post something like this. Hope this helps smile

So I guess because profitting off someone's death is ok. I don't agree with it so I guess that makes me arrogant if you say so. But just like me thinking the opportunist need to stop is MY opinion. You thinking I'm arrogant is YOUR opinion. But doesn't your opinion make you arrogant enough to judge me??!!! Just a thought

You totally missed my points. Try to re-read smile

And yes, it is my opinion, and I don't pretend it to be THE TRUTH, and I don't demand that you change your behavior based on my opinion - unlike you. May be judgmental, but not arrogant. However, I don't see how to avoid being judgmental when one tries to categorize smile

I would say confident. But I can get arrogant at times. But I only brag about stuff I can do. I try to swallow that up, but some people just bring out your old proud self. No kidding.

There is a difference between being proud and arrogant. You can be proud without making people feel like less.

I am confident and confidence is quiet and unassuming.

Arrogance is loud, offensive and demeaning to others -- I am none of these.

I would like to add one comment on this. I had arrogance while and long after being in the Marines. I can truly say that I would have never progressed without finding humbleness.

  24. Ivorwen profile image66

Confident or quiet for the most part.

In my opinion, arrogance and pride go hand in hand, and pride can be seen whenever one thinks of themselves as more valuable than others or less valuable than others.

There are times when I am totally disgusted with others (and this may be arrogance), but it usually is because I feel as though the person is puking their arrogance all over those around them by their lack of respect for those around them. I tend to feel this way especially when the disrespect is not aimed at me.
