It's a new week of HubNugget Wannabes we're releasing tomorrow -- Actually, this afternoon so I can avoid computer network congestion here in the Vortex, so we have some overlap -- Better a couple hours early than not at all!

Not to worry! - go ahead and vote for the current Wannabes and you'll have a bit more time to read this week's brand new batch. They're hot! smile

Hi Patty, I was thinking that this would be a good excuse to get certain members of my extended family to read my Hub in a light invitational sort of way because, it's kind of a heavy topic and I don't want them to get uptight about why I'm asking them to read it, so is there a way I can email them the link to your sight for them to find it there, the contest is such a good way to invite someone to read something like that...but, I don't want to impose or break any "Hub-rules" so let me know ? If that would be an ok thing to do, how do I go about it? cool

Is there a hubnuggets suggestion/submission system?

I was reviewing my trackers and I stumbled across this guy,

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Sci-Fi-Now

Yes, he is a referral, but he is one of 30 who actually write hubs, this guy is the first to impress me enough to want to figure out a way to help him hit the ground running.

So is there an open submission process? Can you point me in teh right direction

I was genuinely surprised also, I used to read popular mechanics and get stoked about upcoming gadgets that we were all supposed to be using in the near future.

Like those gyroscope based scooters like the mall cop movie with the king of queens, like 10 years ago they claime dthat every commuter was going to use one.

so im kind of into the subject, but this article got me really excited I want to travel in a vacuum subway at 5000 mph, sounds sweet!

The rules and suggestions for promoting are at the end of Patty's hub/link above.  I posted the link last week on my Facebook, then followed up with FB messages and emails to friends and family, asking them to go to the link and vote.  Worked for me.  Good luck.

hmmm. I found eligibility requirements, which was good to know, but, nope , dont see any suggested submission / recommend a new hubber option or info.

    Anybody got this info?

sunforged, I can't say where I saw it, in the forums, rules or where, but I am reasonably sure it is perfectly okay to suggest hubs/hubbers to the HubNuggets team, including your own hubs. I'm even thinking I've seen the word "nominate" in this regard.

Contact any member of the HubNuggets team.

Where is the love sunforged?  Why was I the first to comment on this great hub?!

I'm afraid this hub may have just missed the deadline though.  I think they pull all the week's eligibles each Wed a.m.  Also supposed to have a hubscore of 55 and hubber of 75.  If he published Tues late, it may not have reached 55 yet, but still fell in for this week and they've already made their picks. So you have to time things right for the HubNuggets calender.

It's perfectly okay to email links to others.  Just click on the "Share It" link at the bottom of the hub (before the comments) and it will give you the option of emailing, copying the link, etc.

    Does that help?

    Good luck in the contest!

You are more than welcome to nominate someone for HubNuggets.  All you have to do is email any of us on the HubNuggets team.  We can't promise your choice will be one of the Wannabes but we do promise to look at it and give it consideration if it qualifies.

Thanks for taking the time to explain for me, i appreciate it very much.

As for the comment love, well, I quite simply rarely comment on any hubs, they got a fervent thumbs up from me though! Truthfully, I was the first fan and if they realize I was their referral (they may have just came from a link to someone elses hub, I dont usually link to the sign up form) they may think my support had ulterior motives, Ill time my comment for a moment when it can keep the support ball rolling.

When I first started in online writing, opening my email and see new comment notifications made my day and spurred me to keep going
