How much money is possible with adsence?

   I am sure many people have ask this question, but I am wondering how much money is possible with adsence.  How many sites does it usually take to start making significant money?  Also, if the service is a pay per click way of charging clients, aren't there a lot of people that abuse this and click on their own links?  I really don't know that much about the whole program.

      There are, but as thranax has said, they get tracked. And those people are banned.

         Sounds like a good book, I might check that one out. There is something about having a book in hand to pick up, highlight and carry around that helps me learn. Learning on the internet is just not the same for me.

      HubPages expected earnings from Adsense is $2 to $5 per 1000 visitors.

      I second what Darkside said - if you're serious, you will need to study as though you were in a 12-month diploma program. And, as I say in my Hub, a lot of the info out there is rubbish stuff, so be careful where you get your information.

      Here are all your answers:
      
      1. Don't expect a Cheque of more than &10,000 from Adsense. If you can make this mush, you will get rich.
      
      2. 0.25% Website targeting adsense succeed. Rest of them are Scams and garbage.
      
      3. People cannot click on their own Ads. Their adsense account will get terminated. Google is too intelligent. Do you want your Google adsense account terminated, try clicking on your own ads.
      
      4. Read the "Google Adsense Guidelines" and Google Adsense "Success Stories" for all your answers in detail.

   Google can track if you click you own ads. Don't do it.
   
   It is pay per click, only what the amount is in "total earned" and Amount of clicks are calculated.
   If you have 4 clicks and it says $0.75 then thats all you have so far.
   
   The largest ad sense check in one month was something like $290,000.
   
   It isn't necessary the amount of pages you have, its the amount of traffic you get to one page and how well they blend into your content. If it makes people want to click then they will.

   one of  Australia   Current affairs  show  had a story claiming you could earn  up one hundren  thousand dollars   a year  by  publishing on line  is that possible   ?

      Here on Hubpages folks claim that they average up to $7 per thousand page views.  I personally have some sites that average more than that, say in the $20 to $30 range.  Let's say you are smarter than me, found a good niche and great Adsense placemement on your site and you got a site up to $50 per thousand page views.
      
      Then to get up to $100K per year, you just need 100k/50 x 1000 page views per year, or about 2 million page views per year, or about 5500 page views a day.  To get to that you need a lot of content in a niche that pays well.  Most people can't generate that much content on their own, so they try to get user generated content (say you start a site like Hubpages or Squidoo) and let everyone else do the page generation.
      
      There's also probably more money on the affiliate side, but that's another story.
      
      So, it can be done, but not by cranking out a Hub a day,

   If it is, it would take a great deal of hard work!   There are some people making good money online, but they're devoting just as many hours to it as they would to a day job.  They're not just writing either - in fact, writing is the easy bit.  You have to learn how to promote your work and then do it relentlessly.
