Hi everyone! I know we have a lot of very good and very dedicated pet owners in our community, and I think y’all have a lot of expertise that can be very well leveraged in Hubs! That’s why I’ve made this week’s WTI topic all about raising healthy pets.

This week, consider sharing advice on giving your beloved pets- be they dogs, cats, birds, fish, or something else entirely- the best and healthiest lives possible.

Some keywords to work with: healthy pet products, best dog food, wellness dog food, compare pet insurance, natural dog food, healthy dog food, vets for pets, pet health, petcare, healthy pets, all natural dog food, healthiest dog food, healthy pet, best cat food, cat health problems, cat illness, cat life expectancy, grain free cat food, cat nutrition, cat treat recipes, cat health questions, cat temperature, cat ailments, cat nutrition, cat hiccups, hypoallergenic dog food, dog vitamins, best food for dogs, healthy dog treats, healthiest dog food, canine health, dog health issues, dog ailments, dogs health problems, healthy dog food recipes, how to make healthy dog food

If you'd like to join in on this week's topic by writing a Hub, follow these steps:

    1)    Click here to visit this week's topic.
    2)    Click the green button "answer this question".
    3)    Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
    4)    Give your Hub a very specific title, like Easy Summer Gardening Projects for Kids or Challenging Summer Activities for Teens
    5)    Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
    6)    After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.

For more information on the Weekly Topic Inspiration program, check out the Learning Center guide.

I look furrward to reading your helpful advice!

Hello Simone and all of my other hubber colleagues on hubpages:

I recently published a hub about "The best dog foods for your allergic pet" I wanted this article to be not only an informative piece, but also serve as a self help article for those pet owners who may be dealing with an allergic pet. The article includes a few different pet food varieties that I have found useful in helping my own pet dog; in dealing with her own allergic skin problem. I hope that you all find it helpful in some way; as well as useful in finding out if, your pet would benefit from natural and hypoallergenic brand dog foods which I mention within the article. You can read all about it and more, at the following link here http://jlbowden.hubpages.com/hub/The-Be … ergic-Pets

Your wish may be granted one of these days.I have two dogs and four cats around our home. I will be glad to send you a couple of the cats. Two are indoor and the other two-outsiders, as I like to call them. I was told that I am moderately allergic to cat dander, but not to dogs. So it would defintely improve my allergies if I found a cat or two of mine a new home. As much as I hate to part with them. Look at it as inheriting a new found pet, that is if you are fond of our feline friends? Keep me in mind, if you ever would like to inherit one. (:

Ok - After Carissa brought it to my notice of creating a new section for going green etc.. I guess it would be perfect if a two weeks inspiration topic could be related to going green anything right from recycling to renewable energy to organic farming.

        Hello Simone:

Recently published my newest pet article about keeping your pet felines performing to the fullest. Many cats as they get older, tend to develop bladder and associated urinary tract infections. I wanted to share this article with our hubpage community of pet lovers, so they can gain first hand knowledge of how I had overcome these complications in my own cat. Proper diet and nutrition in the way proper food types, is not only essential for our pet dogs, but for the cats as well. Hope you enjoy the read and go here to view the article in more detail. http://jlbowden.hubpages.com/hub/Keep-Y … plications

K9, I just have to tell you this:  Yesterday we were playing ball in the yard with Baby and the tennis ball got stuck in the chain link fence.  It was out of her reach.  She tried and tried to climb the fence to get the ball.  I ran and got the camera.  She finally made it!  I wasn't able to "catch" her at the right moment, but she reminded me of your Hub where your Kal climbed the tree to get his Freebe.  I could have trained her right then to go up the fence, but I don't her to learn that trick!  big_smile

LOL! How fun Mary! I think you made the right decision regarding NOT training Baby to climb the fence; although I would have LOVED to see the snapshot! I sure needed this little gem of a story right now, thank you so much for the big smile I now have across my face.
            You are a K9's friend--this one included!

This is such a good Hub, K9keystrokes. I'm a big advocate of being informed about vaccines- it's a great way to ensure that your pets get covered for everything and don't fall through the cracks!

Wow, I'm quite glad we made this a two-weeker, since this really is a useful guide! I think it's pretty common to come across injured birds, so it's good to know what to do and what NOT to do when this happens!
