I have one purchased gift and working on projects in making several gifts. No, I have not really started actual Christmas shopping yet -- I am just making most of the gifts to be given, and already had all the supplies for that.

Nope. I heard on the radio, 4 weeks ago I think, about the only person seen with their Christmas lights up.

Started and finished. My goal every year is to be done before Thanksgiving. I hate crowds and would rather not have to do any kind of shopping once the holidays are in full swing.

    I've nearly finished mine.
I started mine about a month ago...want to get it out of the way before the big rush starts tongue

yes, I used to have a rule: No decorations and no shopping until after Thanksgiving but that went out the window because shopping after Thanksgiving gives me a headache! And now that more and more stores are jumping on the "open for Thanksgiving" bandwagon, I just can't deal with it. So I've started my shopping and hope to have it done BEFORE Thanksgiving. I used to love going into little shops during the Christmas season and just relish in the snow, the good tidings and all that sort of thing. Now it's dog eat dog....so I've buckled.

I haven't really started in full swing, but I have picked up a couple things, and I did pop in to a little local shop the other day to see their selection.  my goal this year is to purchase/make gift which are thoughtful, affordable, and which support artists or local businesses.  so as much as possible I intend to make my purchases from craft fairs (where the other gifts I have are from), locally owned stores, or to make them myself.

Yes, I've picked up a couple of things for the grandkids and will get a few more things soon.  Much easier on the wallet then buying all at once.

Nope. Don't start until after Thanksgiving. Each holiday I celebrate deserves its own attention, so I do not start Christmas shopping until after December 1st.  Usually shop at local craft fairs...totally bypass all "black friday" activity . I prefer my own accounts to be "in the black." :0)

By the time I get to shopping, I have already thought of meaningful gifts that I'd like to give my loved ones. :0)
