      The internet is nothing more than a communications medium.  The "make money" argument has nothing to do with the medium itself other than it is a route to exposure.
      
      Making money involves creating a business plan and executing it.  If your plan includes the Internet as a medium then some how magically people believe they are "making money online".
      
      Business principals apply to any effort to acquire money for value.
      
      Why people continue to search for the magic "way" is dumbfounding.
      
      If there were secrets they would not be revealed.  That is the very definition of a secret.
      
      The reality is that the same skills required to make money by leveraging money in the "real world" are required in the "online world".
      
      Keep looking for what?

         It is a work like any other and business like any other. The only alternative to work is still the work.
         
         I like network marketing model. ROI can be quite a huge.
         But it needs targeted work, continuous advertising and teaching others to do the same. This is what rewards.

            Yeah, but network marketing is so difficult.  And you end up with no friends and all your family stops talking to you cause they're afraid you're going to pitch them again.  I can smell a MLM guy a mile away.
            
            Is there a way to do it and still keep your friends?

         I have been able to build up a small copywriting business, almost all of it for clients I meet online. It's just like a regular job except I do it out of my home. But it's real work like a real job. I put in hours, deliver copy, make money, just like at a job.
         
         I've employed myself once before--about 10 years ago. I designed and planted perennial gardens. That went well too.
         
         The key to making money anywhere is to be able to do something other people want and will pay for, and then have the discipline to actually do it. You also have to keep semi-decent records so you don't get in trouble with Uncle Sam.

   MikeNV is right.  Making money online, whether it's adsense, blog, hubpages or whatever, requires the same entrepreneurial intuition and skills required in any type of business.  The Internet is a business opportunity, like none we've ever seen, but it's still an opportunity not an entitlement.  You still have to take advantage of the opportunity through hard work and personal development.  There is much to be learned in making money online, but it will only happen through hard work and using your brain. 
   
   There are no magic bullets in this game.  And you do find one, it will only be temporary, cause Google's great at finding and sniping them.  The only ones who are able to beat Google are guys smart enough to make tons of money even if they weren't black hatters.  That means if you're not smart enough to outsmart Google, don't try, or it'll backfire.

   I find that working with SEO and getting offline clients is the best way to do things. Once you are able to get your own stuff ranking on the first page of Google, sell that knowledge to local businesses have them pay you to get them ranking for terms like "Phoenix Flower Shop" You'll be surprised at how many offline businesses need, want and are willing to pay for online exposure.

    1. No rush
    2. Don't register for Adsense account yet.
    3. Go to clickbank
    4. Click on "Marketplace" menu in the top
    5. Choose a category
    6. Click on "view pitch page" for any merchant
    7. When you're on the merchant page use your browser to view source code.
    8. Find something like <meta name="keywords" content="free trace, cell phone number, reverse cell phone lookups, tracer" />
    9. The keywords you see in the meta keyword tag is what you should look for.
    10. Go to Adwords keyword suggestion tool to figure out if there is money in the keywords and if there are also many people interested in.
    11. Go to Google and search for the keywords. About 1,500,000 results or less is ok. Above means the competition is too much.
    12. If you find a good keyword (viable+not too much competition) then you have what we call a NICHE.
    13. If it's a topic you dont know about, go to google and gather as much as information you can. Read a lot about. Go to related forums and try to as much as you can about about this topic and start writing your blogs and your hubpages.
    14. When your blog is indexed on Google and you have at least 4 good posts on your blog go and register to Google Adsense

    This one's a lot more work, but a great innovative or creative product with a simple website!
    That is probably the best way to make money.
    Adsense is popular and easy but the max you will make in one month is like what 800?
    Ebay is another one if you really have great products and patience!

    Build a list of subscribers. 
    
    That should be the first thing you do.
    
    You can literally sell to them forever, even if you adwords account gets shut down, there is a google algorithm change, or a free platform decides to shut you down.
