Hi, I would like to ask, now that I am close to publishing 10 Featured hubs and I read I am eligible to apply for Google Adsense. But I also read from the eligibility requirements of Google Adsense that in some areas, they require the web owner to own the site for six months. I just joined Hub Pages few weeks ago and I am from Philippines, do I have a chance to get approved or not? Thanks in advance.
I believe that people in Asian countries need to have at least 30 good quality hubs published and that you must have been writing on HubPages for at least 6 months, but it could be 12 months I'm not too sure on that. Please correct me someone if I'm wrong.
I see. Thanks for your reply sleepylog, I do appreciate it. It is noted.

I'm sure it will help! The six month period is only for India and China.
...and the Phillipines and Pakistan and....
There is quite a long list of countries in Asia and Africa. Google doesn't publish a detailed list unfortunately - but if its a developing country, there's a good chance it's on the list.
I am from the Philippines kabayan! I also applied many times and got denied since I was uninformed about it. Google Adsense approves account with at least 10 hubs. But, today, Adsense has set it up maybe 20 - 35 hubs. The six months ownership are from selected Country. But, just keep on writing quality hubs and be active as you can in the community. In fact I am still writing and enhancing my hubs for my next application.
No, I'm afraid you don't. You will have to wait six months before applying.
You will find people who will tell you it's possible to get an account earlier than that (and tell you how to do it) - but don't. You will be breaking Adsense rules if you do that, and when they find out (which they probably will) they will delete your account - and it will be even harder to get accepted after that. So be patient!
hi Marisa Wright, thank you very much for your reply and advice. It is noted.
Marisa is absolutely correct. The last thing you want to do is break adsense rules. If you want ri keep your adsense long term, don't start it off bad. Use the next six months to build your audience.
Thanks StitchtheDamned, I wil definitely follow their rules, to make the process smooth. I really appreciate the advice I found here, at least I know what to do. Thanks a lot.
I don't think you can get the adsense approved. In many Asian countries, i believe Philippines too, for applying to Adsense 6 months is essential. I recommend you wait and then apply after 6 months. Meanwhile, publish more high quality hubs to improve chances of getting adsense application approved.
Thanks for your advice, yes you are right, focus more on quality articles then money will follow in the right time. Thanks for the advice, I do appreciate it.
Hi, I believe it will require at least 25-30 featured hubs and at least owned for a few months since Google is now stricter. For myself, Im intending to wait 3 months and after at least 30 hubs.
Thanks Desmondlee for the tip. I do appreciate it. It is noted.
they count other sites besides hubpages... so if you use blogger, or any other type site for more than six months then they will consider your request. To be honest... it is not really worth having an adsense account in the first six months of hubpages. It takes a long time to build up the readership for your articles. My advice is to focus on your writing and build a quality library while you are waiting for your six months time frame to elapse. If you choose to go for the 25-35 route, rather than the six months time frame, then your hubs will need to have an enormous amount of traffic.
Thanks page1articles for the tip. I have other sites besides hubpages. But I think I will have to follow most of the advice here to publish at least 30 quality hubs or more. I do agree with everyone that perseverance and patience is the key to success. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the tip!!! I just realized I have an old blogging account 3-4 years back that had ad sense enabled on it. Going to see if it works
If you already have an Adsense account, you just use the number from that for Hubpages. If it works on your old blog, you are already approved.
If you will check out the article <link removed>, on Getting Accepted into Google Adsense, you'll see it's not as difficult as it sounds.
I was accepted, finally, after 36 hubs, 5 weeks membership, and 6 reapplications. No biggie, just patience and persistence. But I do agree with being active in the Hubpages community and continuing to write quality Hubs. Good luck!
You don't own hubpages. You are just a member of it. When applying to Google AdSense you should do it directly from Hub Pages and not by going to the adsense website directly.
Thank you everyone for replying to my query. I learned a lot from this thread. Rest assured, that every comment is noted.
Terms and condition of Google Adsense are always updated. You need to check them first. Its generally hard for first timer to get Adsense account within few days. Don't loose hope apart from Google Adsense there are various other ad providers. So i suggest to try those out for few months till you get your Google Adsense account.
Do not do anything illegal or against tnc of adsence. This will result in deactivation of your account which will hurt you a lot. Trust me guys i lost 3 such accounts
thanks joshmeth88 for the reply. It is noted. So it is possible to use other ad providers first while waiting then after six months apply for Google adsense, right?
Thanks in advance.
Hi aylsbillones,
Yes, you can use other ad providers for 6 month than apply for google adsense.
Sometimes this is beneficial as you get to know what mistakes you make unknowingly which result in ban of account. Other providers give second chances sometimes but google is strict and no warning will be given to you, even if you have $10000 in your account.
Currently HubPages dont have feature to support other ad providers. Lets hope they come up with it. Till that time you can use have your own blog or website where you can set ads.
Hope this helps answer your question.
Hi Ayls! It is better to wait for six months before Adsense approval, but in the meantime keep on writing quality article as the more aged your articles are, the more they will get featured and get backlined at different places and sites. So, at the time you will get your Adsense approved after six months, you will start earning a good amount. So, keep hubbing. All the best.
Thanks pinto2011 for the comment. You are absolutely right.
Aylsbillones , you have nothing to lose, so go fo it... try it
Thanks Sam Elder for the reply. The comments they gave were very useful, so I will follow their advice. Anyhow, it is also for my own good. Thanks for your comment.

What do I need to do to be accepted by Google AdSense? I've tried twice and I'm always told that I do not have enough hubs on my page. How many do I need?

After writing on Hubpages for 7 months I finally got Google Adsense approval after applying for it every time I wrote a Hub. I've only written 10 Hubs but this will be an incentive to write more given the time & finding topics to write about. I've read of Hubbers waiting for ages to get adsense...

So ... Google did not approve me for the google adsense program that I applied a week ago.I read quite a few articles before I really applied for the program, but what I THINK, that may be the reason for the disapproval is that I've only 3 hubs right now (At the time of application, there were only...

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I checked in here and I've just checked my balance, it seems I've built up way over the minimum for automatic withdrawal to PayPal but I haven't received anything, I've also checked through Google AdSense website and it's not showing that my Hubpages is...

Why no income from Google Adsense?I signed up for Google Adsense when I posted my first hub two months ago. Since then, I have published fifteen hubs and had around seven hundred hits, yet I have not earned a single penny from Google Adsense. Can anyone offer a good reason for that?
