It is certainly a loss. We lost Ryan, Jason and now Simone, but we lost them to good endeavors. Here's hoping to gain another leader with charisma, charm, and uncanny ability.

Zsuzsy Bee - I still think of you as the Empress of North America and the delightful Judge Bee. How are the duckies and your son's grocery? It's awfully nice to see you online.

Hiya Patty how are you? My coke bottle bottoms (disguised as glasses) are finally back. We (my eyes and I) were given the okay to be moderately active on the 'puter again so naturally Hubpages was my first stop... My duckies and chicken are doing well. They helped me through the longest  15 months of my life, I can't imagine what I would have done without my barn babies. My son's store is doing really great. Thank you for asking. Everything okie-dokie with you?

Can't believe we're going to be losing Simone too.  Gotta go and check out what new thing she's planning on getting off the ground.

        talk to you later

Simone's business looks like a large endeavor that is going to help many business start ups and the world of online business overall. And, Simone is very entertaining. I signed up for information and such; one never knows what opportunity may lie in wait (in a positve way).

I'm fine and glad your flocks and son's grocery are as well.

Didn't know you were leaving.  Gee - it's not going to be the same without you.  You've done so much for all of us here at hubpages - always helpful with your answers to our many questions.  Wishing you all the best and never forgetting you!

(First, Simone, forgive the bad artwork.  As they say, it's the thought that's supposed count.  hmm    Somehow, a few words don't seem enough when, I think, just about how anyone on this site has seen the kind of effort and graciousness and "sunny-ness" you've put into this community.)  (Of course, I know that with the exception of the fine stick art of Mark Ewbie, a home-made picture is pretty juvenile; but - my goodness - I can only imagine what you (and others at HP) have been dealing with over the last couple of years.)   I could have found something like a clip-art glass of champagne or clip-art cake or clip-art shamrocks (or something like that), but that goes back to that "thought-that-counts" thing.

That thought I just mentioned is, "Wishing you the sunniest of success and brightest of futures."  (The thing with "See-You-Later's" is that they're best sunny and sparkly - because, after all, that's what deciding to go after our dreams is supposed to be too.   Everything else aside (and I know you don't need me to say what so many others have said in other ways), the efforts and graciousness you've put in here have far from gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

Simone - I wish for you the best of success; I hope you exceed even your own dreams, because everyone here knows you are capable of that, and more.  Thanks for being such a friendly, funny and level-headed Camp Counselor to all of us. You've always been there (even at 6am Central Time, on the Forum).

I've already signed up for Gigaverse - can't wait to see where you and your partner take it.  I'm convinced all of us who have been fortunate enough to be part of the Simone Era on HubPages will brag to others in the future that "We knew her back then!"

BTW - I'm saving a seat of honor for you at Whole Foods in Austin.  Don't forget to be here for every single SXSW to come!

    Thank you so much, everyone!

Your words of praise and encouragement have really moved me.

More so have I been inspired to take this leap because of the own leap you have taken as online content creators and entrepreneurs- it's really what inspired Gigaverse, the business I am leaving to start.

I can't even begin to express how much I will miss working with you, but I'll definitely be seeing you around! The internet is vast, but surprisingly intimate. I look forward to keeping in touch! big_smile

Simone: It has been great working with you. You have always been on top of what is going on at HP. You have been the "ear" of Hubbers and you will be sorely missed. That being said, I wish you the best of luck in your new venture. It sounds like it will accentuate the skills that you have gained by working at HP and you will be able to affect the futures of even more online writers. Best Regards to your Future!--Deb

Simone, I just plugged "gigaverse" into Google. Looks like Google is already giving you a hard time... Bing and Yahoo already have you as #1. Just what is Google's problem anyway...? Hopefully by July, Google will have gotten itself straightened out. For those who haven't already visited, here is Simone's new address: http://www.gigaverse.com/ .
