I started drawing when I started at HP.  Through encouragement from kind HP people (of course) I carried on and found a new hobby.

I don't brag about my achievements much.

    That's because I don't have any.

But this guy is now appearing as a warning poster for a pizza restaurant chain in Atlanta.  The owner of the chain likes my stickmen!

    I am rather pleased.

Oh bother.  The pic is in negative thanks to a gif conversion problem.

It must be hard to let your first stickman leave home to find his fame and fortune.  And to know it all started here on HP ....

Amazing - I guessed it was Fellini's.  They had the best pizza in town until Anticho Pizza hit the scene (Antico was ranked best pizza in the entire USA last year). Fellini's is still ultra yummy traditional pizza.

At Fellini's you order your pizza at the counter and they give you a wacky postcard in a picture frame (it could be Elvis, a tricked-out low rider or a cherubic 6 year old boy from the 1950's) and that's how they find you in the restaurant to deliver your pizza.

I thought they had the right sensibilities to appreciate your art!

Mark - I still think there's a big market somewhere for your stick humor.  Greeting cards?  Books?

So glad the pizza guy saw a winner & gave you some exposure!

FYI - I was thinking of you this morning - two dear friends each lost a parent this past week or so, and the most tender thing I could think of to share with them was your story of Pooh and Christopher Robin. So I've sent it to them.

Yes, I know they will cry, on top of the tears they've already cried, but it will be healing tears that recognize, in your story, the fact that we all reach a point where we need to go home.

I see potential for a viral Stickman with this particular sign.  You realize how this is a hot topic regarding establishments allowing or not allowing guns,  Target being the biggest recent news with their statement that guns are no longer 'welcome' in their stores.  Make a name for your stickman photo and use social media with targeted (ha) hashtags.

I lived next door to Clay back in the early 90's but I doubt he'd remember. Fellini's has changed a lot over the years; the walls used to be graffiti and the one in Little5 was filled with hippies and skinheads. Now the walls are painted and full of yuppies. I miss the old Fellini's. It had WAY more character then, but the food still rocks. ;-)

Oh well wow - that IS a small world.  Clay mailed me two years ago - asked for a stickman gunfighter.  A pic for his CD.  I thought it was probably a wind-up, a scam but I did it anyway. He put it on his CD and sent me a copy!

So wind forward a couple of years and now it seems everyone knows him!
