Last year, while going through all the medical stuff as a result of the hCG diet, I found Bubblews and it was therapeutic. I wrote a series on the hCG diet and then drifted away. Been playing with it again. If you write there, can you link to pages here? Is that frowned upon or okay to do? Last night I wrote about why I took most of my hCG pages off Bubblews and linked to my hCG story here. Should I take the link off?
And, I know people feel strongly about the site. I'm just playing with it. I have no hopes of getting rich there. Thanks!
Who knows? Bubblews' rules say that you can't post self-serving links. That means, a link that you stand to profit from. Since you profit from every visit to your Hubs, a link to your Hub would be prohibited. However, it's certainly true that a lot of people get away with it - probably because the Bubblews moderators aren't checking. But is it really worth the risk?
The problem is, you won't know if it's OK until you apply for redemption. If they decide it's not OK, you've lost the whole $50, no appeal possible.
It is just not worth the risk to me on Bubblews to add links to anything but some of my other Bubblews articles on topic, a YouTube video, or an educational article (example: Wikipedia), and, I just use my own photos.
I would not post any links to your Hubpages work on Bubblews. It will come back and bite you. Personally I wouldn't post serious articles that mean a lot to you either. It's hard to have them removed so that you can use them elsewhere later.
I write on Bubblews regularly but everything I write there I consider throw away material. Real articles get posted here or if they are about cycling they end up on my cycling webzine/blog.
no you can't attach links there, only interlink of bubblews posts are allowed
I did in the past with no problem. They change their rules. For instance now you have to have an image with every post and the image has to be yours or through Pixabay. Bubblews is a 4/10 in google page rank checker. Contact Support@bubblews.com. At least if you have an issue later, save the response to show what you were told. That is if they respond.
Thanks. I added one. I'll add another and see what happens. Now I'm just trying to find people who don't seem to be 'gaming the system'. No doubt, there are a lot of very poorly written pages going through there.
I'm on Bubblews too. Joined at the beginning of the month. I like it. I'm not gaming the system as some do. I like to write about random thoughts and such. I don't write everyday but you can do up to 10 posts from what I've notice. I've done two at most in a day myself. I just a nice easy going site. I'm not sure on linking stuff though. It seems they frown on that. I'm still a newbie there. I go by CherylFay. Look me up. I'd like to follow you there.
I'm on bubblews ID kiwinana. Have been there for a while now. Have made no money, just used it for writing occasionally, especially when Squidoo was changing so quickly in the last few months.
I'm Carikay there Thank you for your username Cheryl...feel like I've struck gold. I am amazed there by how many posts are in broken English but, more than than, have a ton of likes. Good to know they might frown on the linking. I've only added one so far.
Just did a search here (much better information here than there!) and apparently we just need to 'use our best discretion'
Well, okay then...I feel okay about my one link.
When I first started there, I included a few Hubpage links. I still got paid, but they do frown on links. I quit adding them. So far I've been paid every time, so who knows.
I am &thelme there but I do not share a link from here as it is not allowed.
I have an account there but haven't hit it in a long time. I did get paid there, many times and never had a problem with it.
I would however avoid any links to HP because of Google. I think it would ultimately end up hurting your traffic here. Of course, that's assuming it ever comes back which I don't see happening any time soon.
Hi, backlinking from unsafe sites can trash your SEO. Bubblews is an unsafe site and if not today it was yesterday and will be tomorrow. It is a site known to have dishonest activity and auto downloads of malicious content. Advertisers must be horrified that when clicking on their ads as I did once, it took me to a malicious download, all I wanted was to buy a pair of shoes. Bubblews have multiple accounts across social networks where they attempt to massage the negative comments they receive, and slag and threaten people who expose their websites dishonesty. I am referring to their website and not the owners. I add authority to this post: they owe me $80.
And that, Colleen, is enough for me to go over there and take my link off. Thank you I'll still play with it just to see what happens but with my pages taking a hit already here at Hubpages, I don't want to make it any worse
I'm convinced...no links I'm curious to see how long it takes to make it to the $50 mark. How long did it take people to get their first check?
The only links I add is to someone's crochet pattern I just finished and wrote about or YouTube videos. Their lines are too gray for me. I have always been paid and I am not missing any redemption.
No better not include any outside links on any post.
I have written 99 posts on Bubblews and redeemed twice. I'm still waiting for my second payment.
Three weeks ago I suddenly had a problem logging in. My password that I have in my notebook was rejected. I thought it was time to change it anyway so I clicked onto the Lost password link, and thought nothing of it.
After a full day of not seeing any return email from Bubblews I decided to write them a note in their help form. At first I did get a reply, like: "Look into your spam folder!"
After several attempts I even went as far as having my computer reformatted, since it was in any case getting slower and slower, so I thought that might solve the problem. ( in case it was an error in my outlook?)
For the last three weeks I have not been able to login, and for the last two weeks I have not received any replies to my kind but frustrated emails.
Have any of you had a similar experience and can shed some light on the matter?
Is there something wrong with Bubblews?
I would love to hear from you.
&NadineMay ( my account is still there)
I had already started a new forum when I saw this discussion.
It is rare they anyone replies from Bubblews. I asked for my account to be deleted, sent email to Arvind Dixit and still no reply, account not deleted.
I wouldn't do it, personally (and haven't). I do enjoy posting on Bubblews, but I consider it a closed network (I do send traffic there from social networking sites).
I also consider Hubpages (and Infobarrel) to be longer term investments, ones that are likely to have passive income earnings for years (and hopefully decades) to come after a high initial investment, vs Bubblews, which is a much shorter term (albeit many, many times higher) earn.
I have really been enjoying posting on Bubblews and I've gotten to interact with some really neat people there. This is only my sixth day really playing with the site I don't think it'll be much longer before I get my first redemption. That is kinda nifty. It's also really taken my mind off my pages here. I'm waiting for things to settle down with the glitches here and it is giving me time to go through and fix up my pages.
I'm not going to risk adding any links to my hubs. With my luck I'll get caught. I've seen people add links but not hyperlink it, which probably still isn't allowed. I've added YouTube videos to one of my bubbles, but those are okay.
I joined there about a year ago and only wrote one bubble, but am just starting becoming more active. I'll play around with it for a while and see how it goes. I'm BreakOfDawn over there.
I occasionally link FROM HubPages to Bubblews - but not the other way round.
The reason being a cent per view.

Whether I agree with HP's new policies or not, I respect the site's right to set their own rules. However, I think one of the reasons Hubbers are getting upset isthey're getting warnings based on rules they don't know existExamples:1. I have "overly promotional" warnings on several...

Apologies if this question is dealt with elsewhere, but I have a couple of broken link messages showing. I've investigated, and the link is still good. That is, you can visit the Hub that I linked to, and it's still there, no problems. You can even edit the link capsule, click...

...Bubblews. (Decided to give Bubblews a break and not declare it in the title.)Here is why I think this...I posted a bubble, "Putin Contemplates Alaska".I then hawked it on my main website and on G+.I just now did a search for the title. My website came up #1 position.G+ was further down...

I know several hubpage writers are also on Bubblews. I have written 99 posts on Bubblews and redeemed twice. I'm still waiting for my second payment. Hi there,I've been hearing discussions that noindexing hubs (because they are idled) impacts their backlinks in some way, and I'd like to find out if this is true.I've been researching this a bit online and have found the following:- According to the Google Webmaster forum, Google *does* count...

Hello,I try not to make waves with "How Hubpages Operates" and I am not sure if this singular problem is having a huge effect or not. But, I've noticed that many hubs I had connected to other hubs via "embedded" links(anchored text) have not been coming up or being flagged as...
