   obviously brown, you know that most of the population has brown eye colour with the minority being blue, less being green, even less yellow and those other freakish colours. So most will probaly say brown.

   My eyes are brown with flecks of green.  From a distance most people think my eyes are dark brown, but close up they notice how my eyes are slighter lighter.

    Mine, no kidding, tend to change. Usually they're a hazel with yellow flecks, but sometimes they go brown or greener or grey (especially if I'm sick.)

    Mine are brown. My ex-husbands are blue. One of our daughters has 1 green eye and 1 that is 1/3 blue, 1/3 green and 1/3 gold.

       Wouldn't think so.  Whatever one sees is through the pupil, not the part that's colored, otherwise people with dark brown or "black" eyes would have a very dim view of the world and those with light eye colors would have to wear shades 24/7.

    Mine are earthy; terd brown. I'm just full of it. LOL I reckon it's my Native American blood and my Mom's were brown. Dad's and 7 siblings were either blue or hazel.

          I'm met a couple of people from Kashmir with quite dark skin and blue eyes, it's a very arresting combination.
          
          And quite a few Afghans have either blue or green eyes, too.
          
          I think it's supposed to be a genetic legacy from Alexander the Great?

    Depends.  Mine will actually change color depending on mood, stress level, etc.  Mine are usually blue or a shade of hazel blue but occasionally they'll be solid green, and when I'm ticked off to the point of being absolutely enraged, my eyes actually turn silver, so I've been told twice.  Found out my Dad's the same way, and my brother's eyes go from green to hazel, so I guess it's an odd genetic thing or something.  But normally blue.
