    What an interesting post. Eventually I will get used to the internet age as I'm like the old farmer who didn't buy his first car until 1957 because he thought his horse was more reliable. But to address the prompt; today I'm flying from Jacksonville, Florida  to my home town, Seattle, Wa.  I want to see my parents.  They are in their 80's and I don't know how many chance are left. So to hell with everything else.  I'm off.  Jacksonville, my business, my house and my mailbox will be just fine in my absence.

    Walked around all crunched over until my back stopped hurting because I was outside painting all day yesterday.  When my back eased up, I went outside and sprayed some bleach to clean the decks off and we painted the steps today, then we ate dinner and it rained so we couldn't paint anymore.  Then I did laundry and got on the internet.

    On Saturday went to emergency room, busted my rib and cracked my tailbone, it was fun   I was checking on my son Thursday night and slipped down the stairs (on vacation), then re-broke my rib on Saturday (by sneezing, I have a man sneeze) and now I am on the couch with killer meds and my computer...moving a little but staying still mostly...today is tuesday...all is better

    Being Wednesday now, for another 3 minutes, spent the day with a close friend -- walked at the park, avoided the rain, went to Starbucks and sat in the rain as it poured down on us (literally, heaviest rainfall in the last 2 years!).  Laughed like a kid and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.  It was a great day!

          Well isis was cutting a head of hair and as my scissors did their little round the ear manouvere the person jolted. Being the experienced stylist I am after cutting off one lobe in my early days, I held steadfast and did the 'quick reflex zone out' trick to save the day.

    This morning I got up and published two hubs.  Then I went to work. Work was basically uneventful except for when I was trying to do my work my supervisor kept calling me for the same thing three times which was really beginning to annoy me.  I went into the office and I held captive for an hour and I wasn't able to eat lunch.  Eventhogh I skipped lunch I still got off work late. When I got home I looked at my progress on hubpages.  I haven't made any money yet but I'm being patient since writing is not my only form of income.  After I get through with the hub pages I am going to do some beading.

    Went to work, came home, and as I was making dinner, my cat chased a bird into the house. A Budgie. Looks like someone's pet. He's not afraid of humans. Bit me twice while I was rescuing him. He's now sitting quietly up on top of the DVD rack. Not sure what to do with him, actually.
