Regardless of who is responsible, it was an awful crime against an innocent man.
I agree and I am not giggling about it
I was showing that coming to the conclusion that this horrific act of violence came from any conspiracy theory is ridiculous.

Whoever did this was a monster regardless of what side of the aisle they stand politically!
which they probably do not stand on either!
If you read the articles they say it happened in an area filled with drug pushers and the like so it would be easy to assume the one responsible was
1 on drugs at the time
    2 is a lunatic and
3 has no affiliations with any political party

Just a nut-job with a severe inferiority complex!
so if i live in an area with blacks and hispanics and puerto ricans, along comes the discovery of a gruesome crime, it then "would be easy to assume the one responsible was"
    1 - a black
    2 - a hispanic
    3 - a puerto rican
    4 - a lunatic
5 - has no affiliations with any political party
    6 - a redneck with limited intelligence
7 - a religious hypocrite with even more limited intelligence
8 - a man writing "manly" poetry calling himself tex

Would you stop it already...Juz' cause we are both from Texas...both talk about the Marine Corp...and have some connection to Oklahoma colleges (He hates OU...and I went to a small college up there)...don't make us the same person...brainiac. Geez...I'm sorry I ever commented in fun against you saying Rumsfield was behind the Swine Flu Epidemic. It's been a month or more already...let it go!

on the one hand, i can see where it would be best to ignore things that upset you. on the other hand, i hate to be wrongfully accused of things...why, just the other day a troll told me i was a grammar cop, when i have never once corrected anyone's grammar or spelling on this site...but since it was a troll i ignored it.

you gotsta pick your battles and i guess you picked this one.

for the record, i don't think you seem like A Texan at all...they seem like two different people.

      good luck.

Your right about getting on with my life...redneck woman. I know your right about that...But, I have witnessed two Hubbers previously...seeming to believe everything he said once...on one night not too long ago. The same night I had called it quits early to wait for totals from the fruits of my labors on clicks and comments...on a brand new Hub poem about my brother... One I had spent 6 hours on...and nothing...nada...not even a nibble...(I know...It could have been a bad hub...but I doubt it smile !) Went over to Hubs the following day and discovered muy name had been drug threw the dirt all evening and into the night. This time...I just want to cut the lil "doggie" off at the pass...ahead of time...so to speak...so we can end this little squibble...once and for all!

Well, I know what it is like to have one's actual NAME drug through the mud over and over...  And on threads designed to do just that.

Isn't this just doing the same?  Couldn't you have sent him a personal e-mail and have sorted this out as adults?

ManlyMan - I'm sorry I teased you the other day about it. I didn't know this guy was still insisting you two were one and the same. rednckwmn has it exactly right. Besides, anyone who reads both of you can see the differences of personality easily.

And for the record, I believe some people thought it was I who was "giggling" about that poor man's death. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was a despicable act.

If there were less nastiness and use of alter ego accounts to hide behind that...and I have found they are often being used by the older people here (interesting)...there would be less 'paranoia.'

Bluedog/L. may have made a mistake.  However, the reasons behind it aren't bad.

    1. manlypoetryman profile image80
manlypoetrymanposted 15 years agoin reply to this

      What reasons?

      1. profile image0
Leta Sposted 15 years agoin reply to this

Reasons:  The top paragraph.  There are people hiding behind alter egos just so they can be nasty and attack.  We all know this.  He may just have been mistaken in thinking you are one of them.

        1. manlypoetryman profile image80
manlypoetrymanposted 15 years agoin reply to this

Thinking is one thing, Lita...but if you act on them continually...isn't only natural...that someone is going to show you the error in your ways...?

    2. profile image0
cosetteposted 15 years agoin reply to this

      i agree.

alter egos are fun when fun people use them for fun, but then there are some people who are hatin' on someone else, so they create a fake account just to harrass that person instead of doing it as themselves, which is UNcool, and also fuels the skepticism going around.

I actually agree, poetry guy...  And I guess because you don't use your real names, it's just kind of an internet thing (?).

Lita: I'm just having fun writing poetry...the Manly Poetry Man way...that's all. As a writer's pen name...I invented for myself a year before joining Hub Pages...and had used it to start my only "not-completely" edited Poetry Book...that sits on the runway...over at Create Space.com. I can see where once I use my pen name in the Forums...that might become...confusing.
But, I am me...just plain ol' me...writing in a Hub Page World and having fun. I have a disclaimer to Alter-Ego Identites on my profile page...and I have my pic up in a lot of my Hubs.
I even originally had my pic up in my Avatar...until i saw the old guy out in the back 40, at peace with the world, on his tractor...and thought...now that's who i want to be...and where i want to be...contemplating the great outdoors...while working out in it! Hope that does a little explainin' for ya'...Humbly, MPM.
