Not normally one for blowing my own trumpet but I have been away from Hubpages for a while due to personal commitments, however upon my return today I discover that I have broken through 100,000 page views and 300 fans.
This has been done in 8 months and with 34 hubs. More amazingly, many of my first hubs weren't that good at attracting traffic. It just goes to show new hubbers that if you stick with it, anything is possible. If I can do it anyone can!
Hurrah! Well done you.
I think it's the cute mouse photo that draws them in you know
Does it look like a mouse? It's meant to be a squirrel!
One GREAT achievement!!!
Well done boy!
i know you were very happy about that! it is great to hear success stories.
It's good to have you back BristolBoy! And I'm glad that your hubs did well in your absense. Hope you'll be able to be around Hubpages a little more.
Well Done BB.. A great Welcome Home
Quality result for quality work!
Bristol Boy I still love your avatar and it is definitely a squirrel. It has a certina undefinable panache. I was surprised when you showed your real face that you're so young. Really had this picture in my mind of a distinguished older gentleman.
Well done Bristol Boy, it's always great to see a Hubber doing so well, and it is a great encouragement to keep slogging on
Well played Bristol Boy, I hope the views also converted into dollars to give you many nuts for that rainy day
Wohoo look who is back!!! Good to know about the traffic and the hubs. Hoping to see more interesting hubs from your side.
Congratulations BristolBoy - That's quite an achievement even if you're active on Hubpages . It's an amazing achievement in your absence.
Welcome back.
Well done! 34 hubs to archieve 100,000 page views in 8 months, thats great!
Good to see you back, Bristol. What an accomplishment! Great job!
I am back for good. Expect to see yet more hubs from me in the future. Sorry to disappoint your expectations of me Nelle!
I am glad to hear your accomplishments.. Sometimes you look at your account and wonder why the numbers are not increasing, but with yout results PATIENCE is the name of the game.. We all just need to hang out and wait, while writing new hubs. Great Job!!!
Great job, BB! And glad you're back. Was wondering where you had wandered off to...
Great job BB People have to realize that when it comes to doing anything online that may result in earning money it will take time.
Keep up the great work
Congratulations! You are so right, it's all about perserverance. Excellent achievement.
Impressive Stats...Liked the fact that you took the time to encourage others who are starting out. I'm going to make sure and become a "Fan" of someone who can encourage!
That is an awesome accomplishment. Deff shoes that quality of hubs rates higher than quantity. 100,000 page views rocks!
How many bags of nuts did you have to give away to your little squirrel pals to view your hubs? Just kidding .
Seriously. Always good to see someone sharing their success here.
High five and swish tails to you BB!
Congratulations! It's quite a milestone. The HubPage group is quite inspiring and you've just earned another fan!
WOW, Congrats BristolBoy, that is an awesome accomplishment. Thanks for sharing and keeping hope alive for us, newbies!
Excellent news. I love to hear stories like this. Well done.
Good times. Its always reassuring to hear success stories. Dont get too successful though or the media will have to try and bring you down

I finally wrote 200 hubs and I've surpassed 100,000 page views. My 200th hub linked together many of my hubs pertaining to small businesses. It's gratifying to know I finally reached another milestone. Thanks to the many of you Hubbers who have served as inspiration during my time here.

I just wanted to have a tiny celebration at having hit my first milestone, 1,000 page views...It took around 15 hubs, 8 days and a fair bit of promotion to get there, but I'm really pleased.I mainly shared on Google+ and Twitter and also answered questions on the forums here, HupHopped and...

hitting 20'000 page views a day within one year....can it be done? what will it take?
by Mark dos Anjos, DVM 10 years ago
I have been watching my page view numbers every day for the last few months and finally hit 100,000 tonight. BUT...now I want to get the 1 million accolade before I have finished 2 years on HP. I plugged the numbers in my Windows calculator---I will need to hit 2400 page views per day, every day,...

How long did it take you to get to 100,000 page views?I enjoyed the answers to my question about how long it took people to get to 10,000 page views I thought I'd take it a step further. How long were you on HubPages and how many hub did you have when you reached 100K?
