Here is mine with more questions than answers
Why do women stay in violent relationships

This is the 40th hub of the week.

There is still another day left to submit your HubMob hubs!

This topic received a HUGE response and I am so glad to see this. So many people will be helped and encouraged by all of this good info.

I agree with you 100 percent Patty!  Hopefully, we will bring more attention to this problem via the hubs here in one central location. And hopefully the stories of people that have overcame the abuse will encourage those experiencing it now.

Just managed to squeeze this one in at the last minute:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/A-Definition-of … u-a-Victim

Which gives definitions of domestic violence and abuse that may sound very familiar to victims, and hopefully will convince anyone who doubts they are a true abuse victim, that actually they are, especially once they recognise these signs in therir own relationships.

Here's this week's link.  The capsules have gone screwy again.  Larry is trying to find a solution, so I'm not going to change anything until he has a chance to see what's happening.

The Painful Truth About Domestic Violence - A Serious HubMob

So far, this week, my husband has NOT BEEN WASTED DRUNK, and I have only been told to shut up a few times a day and nothing more..no hitting, threatening, ..I think he might be realizing something....I am taking a step tomarrow to ask him to go to counseling for his pent up anger, since his company will cover it for free, so wish me luck...

I have been married since 1996 and this only started occuring after his mother passed away this year and I left him for a few months but came back.. I believe his pent up rage has alot to do with both and the fact that he is used and abused at work, finances, and a few other home issues...

I probly shouldnt post this, but it does help me to get it out..I have been his friend since 1990, dating since 1992, living together since 1993, married in 1996..
I almost gave it up, but I had a change when I realized I had gone to a worse life, I stupidly wanted to know what it was like because with my husband, it is the only life I ever knew..he took me in  ( 5 yrs older than I ) as a homeless 16 yr old and has stuck with me through my disabilities, health declines, mental breakdowns, etc..

So , I am going to hold on for him..I know the heart he had is still there, we just need to get im help so he can work out what he has pent up ..
Yes, some of it is MY FAULT..but there is a story behind it. Im not taking the blame or giving him an excuse to be violent, but I know , with help, the good man I married will come back to the surface, he was not always abusive, we have had many years where he would of never laid and never did lay a hand or say a foul word to me..
We need to get that man back.

Good luck BC, and even if the hubmob topic is finished as of Monday (today), it doesn't stop you writing a hub about it if you wish to, either to help others, or get advice from others, up to you. Whatever you decide I wish you well!
