Are you insane???!!!

   This world seems to be getting worse. It's faster, more aggressive, over populated, under nourished, under resourced and now we're even bombing the moon!
   
   "When will it end?" I hear you cry.
   
   2012 according to some sources... don't ask, it's the Mayans or something...
   
   Do we need to harken back to olden times to find more peaceful (repressive - sorry, had to cough) ways of conducting ourselves? Maybe we should look into our history and revel in the mists of romance when there were no wars, no exploitation of innocents; when all were employed and fed and we just burned our resources because they grew on trees (poetic license applied).
   
   Maybe we should look to the future and dream of the days when our politicians and commercial leaders start telling us the truth and feeding back into society some of our hard earned money. We should look forward to times when we finally get a grip and stop decriminalising criminals; stop having so damned many babies; stop bombing each other and raping our planet of every known resource just so we can continue to inflict as much hatred. stress and aggression on each other as possible, like what the way we do and all that...
   
   Or, maybe we should stop and think. Somebody once said to me that there is a fine line between genius and insanity, well let's look at the evidence of genius in our world...
   
   Hmmmm, think I'll try insanity for a while.

      Actually, although you appear to be getting a pretty hard time here after your post, I reckon you make some very valid points, (especially in the latter half of your post), and perhaps your original post wasn't read through or considered thoroughly by those that posted sarcastic comments against it.
      
      A quality hub might well be the answer!

      This is my first day on this website, I'm not sure I know what a hub is???  I thought you had to be extremely lengthy and exact with them?

   Crazdwriter is right-sanity is way over rated-besides that who is to be the judge of saying who is or is not sane? Trying to classify anyone at any particular moment could be viewed as insanity all by itself..

       I am using poetic license, it is sarcasm to draw attention to the fact that people harken to the past saying they were better days but in reality they were just the same.
