    Welcome back Dale!

I hope that you don't mind I post again here.  smile  I have a poem which is written by I*N*V*I*C*T*U*S, who happens to be an awesome poet.  This particular one, I believe, can be felt and understood by many.  Here is the link:  http://hubpages.com/hub/I-will-love-you … -and-again

April is the month for Child Abuse Awareness, which is represented by a blue ribbon.  My hub, http://hubpages.com/hub/Blue-Ribbon-Aga … ild-Abuse, is a disturbing look at this type of violence.  Dale, I have to warn you that this hub contains graphic images, which you may not want to put in your blog.  If that is the case, I understand completely.

Thanks for your work within our HP community!  smile

Dale, there is a hubber by the name of Jerry Bacik that creates some incredible artwork on his computer.  He created a beautiful portrait of my deceased son for me that I will cherish forever.  I wrote a hub about him and interviewed him for it months ago.

Yesterday, I was checking on Jerry and discovered his latest hub (not sure how long ago it was published). It made me so sad to read it.  He sounds so depressed.  It would mean a lot to me if we could feature Jerry Bacik and/or his hubs.  He needs our support. He's unemployed and everything seems to be falling apart around him.

I read the hub based on your recommending this fellow, and I agree on all counts:  he is a tremendous artist, he is a good writer, and he sounded very sad.  I offered whatever encouragement I could because his art is truly wonderful.  I would recommend everyone visit this talented man's hub.

Oh, and KCC, thanks for recommending him--you were right on the money.

Thank you Mike, I did see you comment on his hub after I did last night.  I'm so ashamed that I missed this when he published it.  I just clicked on "more" and that's where you can see when it was published. It was published 6 months ago! I can't help but HOPE that me discovering it yesterday has a "meaning".  Out of the blue I was compelled to check on him.

He has so much talent and deserves so much more than he's enduring.

I hope that things have improved for him, as well... in these difficult times, 6 months isn't necessarily enough time to improve things, but hopefully he is working (on his art, if nothing else) and will at some point find your words of encouragement.

Let's all hope he's getting along better.
