   Yeah once I get strted I am usually okay, though on long articles I fizzle a little towards the end. i am building a blog called 'traffic to my blog' which I need to write a buncch of SEO articles for.  The problem is that when you spend most of your day practicing SEO, the last thing you want to do is write rudimentary guides on the subject!

    Just boppin' in real quick.. Havin' a special day w/ my boys today.  But, part of the deal was we could watch Toy Story 2.  They're so zoned out right now, figured I could come check HP, email, etc. real quick.

    GS - sounds like you're really getting the hang of this.  I'm still struggling, but having fun learning.  I do use Adwords to try to find keywords that would be good for my article.  Have you tried that yet?  I've reworked a hub or 2 as an experiment, and it seems to be helping.
    
    Remind me when I'm on later, I think I have a hub by Yoshi bookmarked that really helped me out with it.
    
    Anyhoo.... take care Tribers.

       Thanks for the encouraging words...I think my last couple of Hubs are definitely a lot more focused for my interests and potentially generating sales, but it seems like the more I learn there more there IS to learn. LOL
       
       I have found some excellent articles by relache, livewithrichard, and Peter Hoggan (among others) that are teaching me the finer points of using keywords, researching keyword competition, and exploiting "gaps" in keywords...all of which I can TALK about, but haven't really DONE yet...LOL.
       
       I have entered the text of a couple of my hubs into AdWords and seen the resulting lists of keywords. I suppose these are what I should be looking at to guage competition and value - and then incorporate into my text, but sometimes I feel rather lost. If we're on at the same time later, maybe you'd be so kind as to walk me through how you "re-worked" your hubs. Relache recommends getting rid of general or "fluff" tags and replacing them with more valuable, specific tags (they generally seem to have less competition). I think I'm beginning to get the general idea...but putting it into action is another story.
       
       Anyway...this is turning into a forum novel LOL...thanks for suggesting Yoshi-he seems like such a nice guy, I think I'll just pop over and see if I can find the article you're talking about :-)

    did someone say spankedy?  I thought I heard some spankeding going on!  wow, what a night!  and the moon ain't even full yet!  I AM a little shy.  that's probably why no eggs yet!  or, not.  OR maybe I is still a liddle young for that egg laying stuff.  I could take orders I suppose.  Do you think $100 per egg is too much to ask?  especially, probably, since they'd be sight unseen and no tellin what color they'd turn out to be since its Easter time already.

They are basic, but that's what I need right now.  I'm so new to all of this, that I spend as much time in the faq trying to figure out acronyms as I do reading the helpful hubs.  Yoshi seems to speak to the beginner like myself.
       
       BTW - I agree w/ you on a lot of your other choices for reading up on all this.  There are some definite great reads out there.
       
       And, thanks.  Hopefully the kiddo will feel better tomorrow.  He rarely gets a fever... poor guy feels awful.

             the last couple weeks on American Idol a couple of the girls had feathers braided into their hair - and Crystal wears dreadlocks!  I am so loving this new generation!
