    yep, it seems like the people I really like alot get tired of the forums and sometimes leave entirely - mostly because of the bigotry threads and the unrelenting craziness about getting banned etc.  It is hard to just ignore the silly threads that lead us into dead end streets and are a waste of time.  There is sometimes a lot of negative energy.   Denno was very very funny, charming, and fun to talk to - lighthearted.  I hope he comes back someday.  I'm afraid we've also lost hokey for awhile anyway, since he's relocating.  Some days I wonder whether I will last out much longer either - there are still many many good hubbers, including all the tribe!  so I hang in there

      yeah, I just don't fit in to the "real" serious hubs, unless I have I real out spoken opinion.  I see less friendly forums.  Some nights they're great and so entertaining, and then sometimes they're soooo boring, and you feel shunned for being yourself like saying "I am stoned, but I've been in my yard mowing, editing hubs, and washing laundry, something must be working".

    its just that for me to maintain interest in anything at all there has to be some humor in it somewhere.  most people think that means I'm nuts  - so be it, it just seems a shame to waste life being serious when everything is so transitory - you know?

    I'm BAAAck.  I miss Denno, too, and Hokey.  And mega, your view of humor is marvelous and I totally agree.  It's so fun to join in a creative and off-the-wall forum.
    And Fluffy, I'm pretty nuts myself, I guess we're all bozos on this bus!

    I'm prob not gonna be here a lot this week. I'm on a loaner computer as mine is in the hospital for repair. It went down Saturday dang it.

    So, I have got to play catch up to hubs etc for the April Challenge and do a few other things at the beginning of this week.

    I'm with you all on the music... I listen to just about anything. (and sing a long too... lol ) Not that into rap (except the Beastie Boys lol ), and I'm not well versed in a few other genres, but I'm rarely, if ever, the one asking to "change the station."

    Anyhoo... just popping by.  Its been a busy few days.

    Hope all is well.  Bummed I missed the cheese breakfast! WE'll have to do that again sometime.  Cheese is my weakness.  (I crave that WAY more than chocolate.)

    Nothing ever goes as planned, lol. I got the loaner computer Monday but then I got wisked off to Shorter, AL for a little gambling retreat. Just got home this morning and am worn the heck out. Who knew two 70+ aged people could walk a 46 yr old woman to death, LOL.

          Have you tried bacon salt, or baconaise?  Check out their website.

          http://www.baconsalt.com/

          No actual bacon in there, so it probably wouldn't be banned (although, there's a pig on the label, so you'd have to be careful), but it tastes wonderful added to eggs, popcorn, etc. I'm totally addicted to the stuff.

          In fact, I think its totally vegetarian if I remember correctly.

              I can't escape the forums.
              I came over to plug in the laptop, and now I'm standin here still typing.  Its so uncomfortable.  Where it is plugged in, its way too high for short lil me to type.... I'm backspacing more than i'm typing....

        I don't see why the things I like to do always make me sick! this world sucks.  but I shouldn't be complaining after reading about your last couple days, Justine.  I am coming down off my manic phase - the moon is in Leo - all that talk about utility sex just made me so frustrated - and there are other crappy things going on.  still. it was a nice sunny day and tomorrow it may actually be warm enough to start working on a tan!
