It fluctuates and bounces around. I figure I will stay in the low 90's and be happy.
Yeah mine rolls from around 96-91 can't really figure out what drives it.
Hey Lynne, yes ok. I got my vent on in here, and feel better for it. How are you doing?
Ok just checking in on a few things before I call it a night. Glad you got your vent on and are better.
throw another log on the fire. Bring in some more people!!
I am back, not at my full strength or self, but I have recovered enough to be here for everyone and enjoy life again andf slowly get back into the swing of things....
I AM OFFICIALLY OFF OF BED REST AS OF 7 :15 am TODAY!!!!!
Congrats!! I am glad you are feeling better!
Im gettin there again , Dave..but somehow I lost 22 lbs in 2 weeks from this..
No , it is not a diet I reccommend to anyone and I really did not need to lose that weight...
That's a considerable loss. I wouldn't recommend that diet either.
Well, it's full of factual information about how much I hate my job and why. I am trying to find an ending. So far I am talking about my job search on the internet and how I devote so much time to it each night. Its a lot whiny throughout.
hmm..maybe you should detail a list of why you hate your job on paper, then decide what your going to write from there. that's basically what i did for my unemployment thing. besides, if you describe to the readers why you hate your job, it'll allow everyone to be more sympathetic when you complain about your job as i'm sure we all know how it feels. even me as i really hate my current job too. lol.
I probably won't publish it to be honest. Just because everyone hates their job. I am just venting after a really shitty day.
yeah, but you never know. you might get a lot of traffic since people could relate to that. however, it's really up to you though as i'm not sure how comfortable you are having that information online for anyone to see. im sorry to hear about your day for you and hope it gets better for you.
me too.. I lost too much weight, am a little weak, and got bored.....but thats life I guess, least I got a few good friends to even it out
hey dave, i got to go okay. you take it easy okay. hope your day gets better.
night to ya then Steve, I will try and get some sleep I guess too, better set my alarm..think I will hit the couch for some TV..talk to you later today then
Maybe so.....
Remember to play Marvin Gaye and Al Green Steve!!!
Oh and don't forget Barry White!
I'm doing pretty well...I just wrote an "accidental thesis" on the depression forum
I've had a good day, got lots of work done.
What are you guys getting into?
Well....
Trying to finish my whining hub called "I Hate My Job".
Trying to finish my essay for school
And working as always.
Wishing I could be at home. And wanting pizza.
Awww! I wish I could send you a pizza....I guess no delivery by boat, eh?
What's the essay for school about? What school? What are you learning?
DeVry, Computer Engineering, and the essay is about business and Management principles.
Nice...What about business and management, exactly?
What management style do I have based on a test, and then I have to write an essay based on the test. I took the test. Now I just have to do the essay.
*nods* I know exactly what you're talking about. I end up doing some of those kinds of essays in mental health as well.
"What kind of learning styles do you use?" "What's your personality type?" etc.
You don't sound very excited about it at all.
Not excited about it at all. I am not liking this class.
I don't know what my personality type is. I was a "buddy" leader in the military. Only acted like a tyrant when I had to.
I'll have to try to dig up the link for you so you can look at it...But basically I think it determines your personality based on four sets of two possibilities each. I.E., Introvert/Extrovert...there are three more...I ought to know them, but I'm tired. Gonna have to study.
It sucks that you're not liking the class. Knowing your management style can be handy for anticipating the kinds of problems you're likely to run into (especially when you run into people whose styles are not compatible with yours) and can help you get to know your strengths as well (so you can manipulate situations to your advantage and bring your talents to bear where appropriate).
What are you not liking about the class?
I don't feel like I am learning anything. I am basically paying for a degree. I don't read the books, and I am passing all my classes with A's. Its ridiculous. For class participation points, we have threaded discussions like these here. Then we have homework to do. So I get my homework done early in the week and post two or three times a week, and I am done. On to the next week.
I have a similar course design here, although I enjoy reading my textbooks. However, we also have 60 hours of intense in-person class time each semester.
Do you think you'll be able to get a job you want once you're done?
I have a BS in Electrical Engineering a BA in History and now I am trying to get the BS in Computer Engineering. I transferred a lot of credits into DeVry. I just have to do some crap Gen Ed stuff. Once I am passed that then I can get into my real course work.
I hope to be a published author by then. Who knows. I may win the lottery!
Wow! That's a whole lotta education going on. What's the story behind that? Change your mind about where you wanted to go, or what?
The last 2 years I was in the military I took every CLEP and DANTES test I could take. I passed the majority of them and received college credit for them. Basically if I could pass the test, I didn't have to take the course. I did all my gen ed courses and took a few classes and got my history degree. Then I took some more tests and took a lot more classes and got my EE degree. Now I want something different and have my GI Bill.
Ahhh, very cool. I wish I had the GI bill...but I don't know if any branch of the military would want anything to do with me...plus...I'm kind of anti-war.
ETA: That does not mean I'm anti-SOLDIER by the way. I'm grateful for the sacrifices all the soldiers have made for those of use living in America.
Gotta run, guys. Dave, I hope you feel better. Good luck with your work!
*hugs*

This is likely A LOT to "ask" but if you have a few minutes please take a look. I've been having fun here on Hubpages for nineteen months and have recently decided to take the productivity level more seriously. I've started designing my own website and intend to start writing more and...

I've just received word that I've qualified to receive some "assured long-term" benefits for disability - on an application process that took over 2 years and many individuals/professionals as advocates' assistance. This means that I can evade the constant worry of homelessness, so long...

Wrote a new hub this afternoon, just for fun. It is topical, relating to a new news item today. Would someone like to read it in it's entirety and comment, please? Pretty please? I don't usually do 'satire' if that is what it could be described as, should I leave it as it is, or go a bit further...

I have two hubs up so far. I am not entirely sure what a great ranking would be considering that they are quite new, but they are both above 60. Is this pretty good for newly established hubs? I would appreciate any feedback on my work and what can be done to improve for the future, as well as...
