Yesterday was the first time ever I hit 1000 views in one day. I know it's not much compared to what some are getting, but it was still good to see it there. How many views do you get per day?
It's shot up in the last week or so. Currently 5000 per day.
I didn't respond to the second part of your question as I wasn't sure if I was allowed to. But since Paul posted on another thread, I think it is safe to assume that traffic numbers are okay to talk about. I get between 900 - 1000 a day recently. In summer I expect this to be 4 - 5000 a day. Last summer was 2000 a day and at this time last year, I was 4 - 500. During the off-season (winter) I get around 6-700. It's funny really, if one hub goes up another goes down during this period.
Awesome! Well done Dwelburn. Congrats! Keep up your good work.
Congrats! I hope your views and popularity continue to grow!
Congrats. I feeel the same way about these milestones. I take a screenshot of the statistics page when I hit a milestone number so I can save it.
That is great. I average about 60 views per day and I am happy with that.
Congratulations!!! I am currently at an average of 60 to 90 per day....
Thanks, and good for you too! This time in 2016, my views were about 350 per day. I've only written 4 new hubs since then, but several educational ones have really taken off, with a lot of views coming from India, but other hubs seem to be getting more views per day also. The ones that don't do well have less than 1000 words. I think though we've probably all learned from each other in the forums how to improve our hubs and rank better, so hopefully Google doesn't throw a spanner in the works now when things are doing well!
That's really good for only 58 articles! Are you editing Hubs and submitting to niche sites every two weeks? The more you can get on the niche sites the better you'll do!
Welcome to 1000 per day views and I wish you will get more and maintain it. It feels good and they pay is also good. For me, I get around 2500 views per day.
Congrats, dwelburn! What a great milestone to reach for the first time. I'm inches away, too! I was shocked to see views knocking on that door yesterday. Maybe it actually hit 1000 in the wee hours last night. It is indeed a great feeling. Great for earnings, too.
Congrats, @dwelburn. Glad to know that. It's a great achievement for most of us. You should celebrate it with a shout. Best wishes.
Nice job dwelburn I have never had that much traffic in one day before. The most views I normally get is a day is around 100 - 200 and, at most I have had 300 - 400 views in a day.
I am reading some of these posts and these figures sound amazing to me. I can only imagine getting over 2000 views in a day.
EricDocket - yes, I'm gradually getting more articles on the niche sites. Think it's about 20 at the moment.
Thanks Patkay; you are doing very well. And thanks Venkatachari M; best wishes to you too.
Iobobrandon - you are obviously progressing very well; hope you achieve your expectations for the summer.
Thanks janshares; hope you hit the 1000 today - and then go well past it.
And thanks EricFarmer8x; keep writing good articles and I'm sure you will get there.
wow that's a very nice achievement. I get less than 200 a day. Have for years. My topics are obviously not highly searched as 1 of my hubs get s most of the views.
I like that goal though of 1000 a day.
I might have to try that.
Congrats on your milestone.
G.
That's great news, well done. I don't get nearly that at the moment lol. But I do love Hubpages and the community spirit here. I've met some lovely people here.
That's awesome! A good day for me is 150 views a day. I nearly fell out of my chair a few months ago when I got around 5,000 views a day for a couple of days when one of my Bitcoin crypto hubs went viral on Twitter. Enjoy!
Nice job! I wrote a Hub related to cryptocurrency as well. I am hoping the service I wrote about gets more popular in the future.
I hit my first 1k views per day two days ago. Hoping traffic will stick around. The last two days views have been in the 900's.
Congratulations I'm new here. How long have you been writing on this site? Awesome accomplishment.
Thank you Grant's World. I'm the same though; well over half my views come from my top two articles. Hope you reach your goal.
And thank you coffeequeen; yes it's a great community here.
Rock_nj - so you went from 150 to 5000. Wow, that's impressive. I must admit I have been meaning to read more about cryptocurrencies. Maybe I'll start with your article.
Well done Shesabutterfly. Yes I hope the traffic will stick around too. I'm back down to just over 900 now.
Thanks Stacy; I've been on here 6 years. Not consistent though.
Congratulations! Hopefully I'll get there too. I would be happy to start with 10 per day.
I wish I could say I was getting any, but being new here I am not yet. I'm sure it will improve as I write more and learn more.
I have had 18 views today on 269 articles. Don't know why I bother!
Anyone with that many articles should have over 100,000 page views. I realize you will not get many for the poetry and the anecdotes but have read some others and your articles are well written. What they are NOT is thorough enough. (There are probably lots of exceptions but I did not read them all.) You need to use Google suggest or Ubersuggest to find out what you are missing. Type in the title of your article and see what comes up. Are the most popular keywords in your article even mentioned? When you find out was is missing, go into the article and edit it.
Find out as much about SEO so that your articles can have a better rating in the search engines.
To start out, you also need to use social media a lot more. Read about MFP images and go in and edit your articles so that the images will be repinned on Pinterest.
Finally, you will get at least that many views just from Hubpages. If you were more active in the community and read and commented on the forums people would be willing to look at your articles. If that does not appeal to you read some articles written by others and leave comments. SOme of them will also read your articles and leave comments. It is not much, but it is a start.
Thanks so much for the advice. It seems whatever I do makes no difference. I have tried most of your recommendations and changed articles innumerable times to make them more SEO and keyword friendly and have interacted with others on site and also promoted articles on social media but all to no avail. Maybe I should write about sex!
Too much competition there. Stick with what you have and use ubersuggest as DrMark suggested.
I just ran an article of yours through ubersuggest since I liked the topic so much. (I had one of those tenants and even though I took her to court it took me over a year to get rid of her after she stopped paying rent.) However, the article was good but about black mould. How would anyone looking for an article about how to control mould infestations even find it based on the title?
When I checked ubersuggest for the title, there were tons of suggestions with very good traffic numbers. There were a lot more people interested in that topic than in dogs. If you want to write another article about eviction notices, how to evict, etc, it could be successful if you do it right. If you want to use the same article you can do so but it will need to be severely edited since it does not address those things that people are searching for.
Anyway, just an idea. Let me know if I can be of any help.
Congratulation! I am only dreaming of that number page views.
eugbug - that's interesting what you say about educational articles and 1000 words. Most of my articles are over that, but I was only recently thinking that I should be bringing all of them up to at least 1000.
Thanks ShailaSheshadri; and you too. And thank you NateB11.
HappyPuppyHost - sorry to hear you are not getting any yet, and I hope it improves for you soon. And hope yours improves too GiftsByDiana.
Thanks Christy; yes a good milestone. And thanks Natalie; hope yours grows too.
Stella - wow, 269 articles; that's a huge amount. But only 18 views - something is seriously wrong. Hope you can start to get something out of writing on here.
Congratulations! I'm at about 3-500 per day and hoping to keep on improving. I definitely have half a dozen articles that do better than the rest, but I have some new articles that look promising. Fingers crossed!
Teeuwynn
Congrats! It's an awesome feeling to know that many people find your stuff.
I'm finally averaging about 1000 views a day but I only have 8 hubs I think. I doubt it will go up much unless I get myself in gear and get some more articles written.
Your Hubs must be high value to get so many views from just eight. They do seem like the thing parents would search for often though.
Wow! How do you all get this much traffic? I can barely get 5 views in a day and I have to constantly keep posting stuff or I will have days with zero views
Any tips? Or is it that my posts are just not good enough?
I think your articles look great, but You have been here for two weeks -- it takes time before they are indexed by Google. Most of us here didn't start getting significant views for several months, even years.
This is a great place to practice patience and perseverance. If you can do that, while learning along the way, it will eventually pay. Hang in there!
Thanks for the support, good to know that it doesn't just depend on the quality of the posts. I have patience and the desire to write, so I'll gladly wait
Thanks. Great to know. I am struggling the same way. I'll just keep writing articles.
There just happens to be a big audience for what I wrote about and not many people writing quality content.
I have a group of women from my target market that I confer with before writing a new article and once it's done. They tell me what women like them want and that's what I deliver. I think that has helped tremendously.
I also noticed a rise in my daily views for the past few days, no where near 1,000 views per day but it is still quite exciting. Congratulations!
It seems there was an algorithm update at the weekend.

Yup, there have been quite a few big updates off late. Dec 12th, Jan something and feb something and now March 12th.
FYI, dwelburn
I hit last night, 1,000+ views in one day! Celebrating with you.
Thanks Teeuwynn; and best of luck with your new articles.
Alice - 1000 views per day from 8 articles is amazing. Really well done for achieving that.
Thanks honghanhvt1182; glad you are seeing a rise too.
And really glad to hear you hit the 1000 views in a day janshares. Hope it grows further from there. Mine has dropped off a bit but hopefully it will go back up again.
Thank you Lisa, Miebakagh57 and whereyouwatch.
It's great to see people on here at all levels, but in general views are going up for everyone, which is a very positive incentive.
Congrats! That's a fair share of views. I do not get as many, but I'm hoping my views will increase in the days ahead.
Hello iam a new hubber here.I hope i can achieve my goals and get more trafic . It seems that i can learn from you a lot of things to improve my writing.
that is huge~! keep up the good work. It not about how well others are doing but that you have achieved more than ever before.
Wow iam happy for you.As a beginner i think i should do more efforts to rach such goals.
Wow! Those numbers that you guys are posting are just dreams in my head. I didn't imagine that one could generate those magic numbers, at least not in a long, long time. It seems that for me to reach that level I have a long way to go.
Anyhow, congratulations to all of you who have made it there.
Congrats!!! That's always a huge achievement! Before you know it, it'll be 2,000 - then 5,000!!!

I'm just so excited, I got my first 1000 views in just 4 weeks of joining. Thank you to all who read my hubs. Any comments positive or negative is greatly appreciated. I know there is always room for improvement.

I realized that the total CPM is around 15USD but only have 0.44USD in my earnings. Isn't fair and don't understand why! Explain please
by StitchTheDamned 12 years ago
I am so so happy right now! My total views have finnally climbed to over 1,000 and one of my Hubs has been selected as a Rising Star. I've been steadily working on improving my Hubs and apparently it is working! How excited were you to hit 1,000 views?
