I did it!!! I hit 1,000,000 views. It took 4 years and one week. I was hoping it would happen on June 14th because that was the anniversary of my first published hub (which is now on owlcation.) Close enough. When I went to bed last night, I was about 300 short of the magical 1 million. When I checked this morning, I had crosssed the finish line.
I am hoping to reach 2 million views in two more years. Or maybe sooner. I'm up to 1,000,635 right now, only 999,365 to go.
Big Congrats, I know you've worked very hard to get here.
Congratulations! That's quite an achievement! Share some of your success strategies with the rest of us so we might also have a shot at this sometime. That's a lot of commitment for four years. Great job!
Success strategies? Write a lot of hubs. I'm up to 154. Some of them catch on and some don't. I got lucky recently. I had written a hub about Stephen Hawking about a year ago. It was getting steady views (200-300 a day), but when Hawking died in March, it went through the roof. Nearly 2000,000 views in a week. It's back to 200-300 a day now. But that week got me to 1 million a few months sooner than would have happened without that.
Good work. Rewarded. You should reach 2m in double quick time. I know I did. Keep it all up to date and the numbers should rise and rise.
Congratulations Catherine! That’s an awesome achievement!
Wonderful news Catherine. Congratulations! that is great achievement.
Congratulations, and happy first article anniversary!
Congratulations, Catherine! It's exciting to reach a million views.
Nice job CG! Welcome to the millionaires club! LOL Congratulations!
Congratulations. You made me find my page views, which have reached 2,013,280 in 6 years.
My God! Congratulations!!
Could you share some tips on how you did that. Also i a curious to know how much of that 1 million hits translated to money?
Congratulations! That's a great milestone, and few people make it.
Congrats, that is great! I think I have 2-3 months to go until I get there if things keep going as they are!
Here's to many more well loved articles written by you. Congratulations Catherine!
Oh, Catherine, soooo happy for you. I remember when you joined HP. Look at you now. Congratulations!

I realize that this number is not considered as particularly high especially after writing here for over a year and having close to 50 hubs. Yet I feel it is an accomplishment, at least for me. We all have to determine what makes us feel we have achieved something, independent from...

I'm finally soooo close to 5 million views that I can taste it! And it's taking long enough, haha!

Well, not just today! I wish. But, today I will pass the 2,000,000 views milestone. It took awhile - helped by some popular hubs and hindered by the one that wants a good kicking as it's only had 34 views in the last 3 years!Website traffic really is an 80/20 situation, with 20%...

HP just gave me the 100,000 views accolade. It took me about 13 months to earn it. How long will it take to reach 1 million?

There's no badge for it, but I hit 5 million views slightly earlier than anticipated. I edited a ton of hubs a few months ago and it really boosted my traffic (plus the niche sites help!)Now on to 10 million views... that'll be how many years?

I am sharing a small victory. I made one million views. It took 157 hubs and and 4 years for me.
