A few hours ago I received the email from HP saying I've been here 7 years. That's almost a third of my life Also, they asked me to get a new desk haha. Funnily enough, I was planning on getting one sometime next month.
Good job, Brandon! You've become one of the main gurus here and we are so happy to have you. Here's to at least 7 more successful years. Thank you for all of the help and advice you have given me.
Congratulations! We're certainly glad to have you.
Congrats! Your 1M accolade says it all.
Wow, well done. Who'd have thought - you're now a seasoned veteran. Old timer.
But I have to say you are a big help to many people on HP and I for one hope you'll be around for another 7 years. More. 8 years at least. 9.
You, Sir, is what this world needs more of. Congrats on the big 7!
Congratulations. Your advice to other hubbers like myself is very much appreciated. Hope you get the new desk soon.
Time flies. You’ve been a great help to everyone in those seven years Brandon.
Congratulations, you have been very helpful and your posts are always insightful. Cheers!
You're certainly one of the most analytical persons around here. Seven years from now, when you're a Hubpages earnings legend, I'll say, 'Brandon? Ah Brandon, I recall him from before he started shaving....'
Congrats Brandon! How old were you when you joined HP then?!
Congrats! I remember you being here when I started, on HubPages and a few other writing sites if I'm not mistaken.
Think of all of those writers (and sites) that have come and gone in that time. Online writing was a much different world seven years ago.
Congrats! I remember when you started too Wishing you many more years in the HP family!
Thanks, everyone for the kind words. It's been a really nice time with all of you, through the many ups and downs of the HP domains. Just wanted to reply to a few questions/funny comments:
@Wesman, to that haha.
@Jackie: I was 18 when I joined. I should have been clearer lol. I guess I began writing when I was 4, so it's one third of my writing life if that makes sense.
@Eric, I remember when you were new as well. I think we were both on Wizzley if I'm not mistaken?
@Stacie. that's definitely a WIP. Got 6 hubs in the process, but it may take me just as many months to get them published.
Yup, I was on Wizzley, but they killed my accounts last year when they were purging all of that garbage from the site. I assume my accounts were caught up in that because they didn't have any published content on them at the time.
I've thought many times of publishing there again just for fun. I assume there is no money to be made, but I do like the site. I just don't know how to get my accounts back. LOL.
I still have mine, I get maybe 10 sales a year from Amazon, nothing more. No Adsense clicks. I got 39 live pages there, with an average of 6 views a day None are worth moving here. I liked their design too.

Doesn't time fly? I have just found out I have been on here all of four years!HubPages have sent me a message saying: "You have hit a pretty impressive milestone—your 4 Year Anniversary on HubPages!"
by Doris James MizBejabbers 4 years ago
Hooray, I just received notification from HP that I hit my seven-year anniversary. Thanks for the congratulations, HP. They suggested that for my anniversary present I buy myself a new set of HubPages writing tools (laptop, tablet, phone, camera, notebook...)". Hum, I don't think I...

Wow! I can't believe I've been here a whole year! It seems like just a month or two ago that Randy Godwin was telling me about this site called Hubpages. It's flown by, and I've had lots of fun!

I've been working long and hard to reach the goal of the elusive $1000 per month from HubPages and this November I finally made it $611 amazon & $489 adsense.Hopefully with some consistent work I can keep to this level of income once Xmas has passed and supercede it I don't think I would have...
