So we probably have all read the jokes, "You might be a REDNECK if you...." But I was thinking what constitutes as a hubber?
You might be a hubber if you look at the clock and realize it's 6 am and you've been going at it for 6 hours!
Or
You might be a hubber if you canceled a lunch meeting with the President because you had fan mail to answer….
So what makes you a hubber?
if you spend far too many hours posting, I gotta stop, Just Gotta.
If you stare at your stats for 30 mins waiting for them to change...
You are definitely a hubber if thoughts that you might have writer's block torment you daily...
If you spend all your waking hours trying to come up with new article topics...
If you scan news articles for innovative hub topics...
If you read dozens of hubs written by other hubbers daily and just can't stop doing it...
If you send everyone you know to your hub to read your articles!
If you check your traffic stats over and over again...
If you get worried when your hub score goes down a point or 2...
If you are envious of fantastic hubbers who are making all kinds of money and receiving thousands of hits on their hub articles.
If you turn positively green when you see someone who has written over a thousand hubs...
If you stay up all night writing your hubs and don't feel a bit tired...
If you get blurry vision from looking at the screen too long.
i am a hubber coz I want to help people with my learnings and learn from others.. And in that process generate some extra $$$ for a wonderful vacation with family... this one was honest
I just checked your titles out! Very interesting stuff....If I were not so tired I would read them and comment!!! I sincerely hope that you soon make enough for a vacation with your family and then $ome!!!!
I am a hubber coz i always pay attention on my follower's well as put comments regarding that.
I am a hubber coz i keep on touch of may all hubber friends.
I am a hubber coz i take part in forum discussions and put threads too.
I am a hubber coz i am on hubpages.
Yes Yes I am a HUBBER
Yes I'm a Hubber ...As I'm on hub page.
I'm a hubber as I write hub related to computer and computer news.
I'm a hubber as I take part in the activities going on the HUB.
I write comments on the hub that I like .
I'm a hubber as all the hub activities keep me busy.
I'm a HUBBER .........
You are a hubber-
If writing hubs means the world to you,
You cannot detach yourself from the forums,
You are over excited about seeing cents grow in your account,
If hubpages would shut down even for maintenance it would mean the end of the world,
Above all if you feel you belong here to this wonderful community then yes you are qualified to be a hubber.
You might be a HUBBER if...
you earn your first few pence you feel like you've won the lottery.
You spend more time talking to people on the hp forum then in real life.
You can't help but feel disapointed when your hubber score drops.
If you could aford to you would give up your job to spend more time writing hubs.
The only emails your interested in are those that tell you about fan mail or comments you have at HP.
Everything you see, read or hear is potential inspiration for a hub.
You just can't not check your traffic and adsense earnings.
Or is it just me?
You might be a hubber if...
You are tickled to death if a really good hubber reads your stuff and says it's good.
You get all excited & happy when a fellow hubber becomes your friend!
You consider your HubPages profile your main web site and refer people to it instead of all your other sites...
You might be a hubber if…..
You were banned a few weeks ago and haven’t gotten over it yet.
Are about to be banned for mistakenly typing "out loud" what your thinking about that *&^%87 OP
Or not caring about being banned and typing it anyway.
you make instant friends with someone who looks like a cartoon:)
and you don't care!
You might be a hubber if you are out in public saying "Wow I hope I win Hubnuggets"
If you sit on the toilet and chat in the hubpage forum and edit a hub whilst curling one out!
Ooooooooo Waynet you could have at least let me finish my chicken and cheese sanger for brekky.
mitsi1098 - OMG - that was great. My nickname is Ivy and that is what I've done -IVYhubber. Does that mean, could it mean...okay. Yes, I do have thoughts over and over again of things to write and I do stay up late even though I have to teach high school kids in the morning and I do get totally freaked out when I see a little blue triangle and extremely amped when I see a red one. I am amazed by those of you that have hundreds of followers and HUBS and I plan on getting there - in time. Interesting and funny topic.
... you wake up at two in the morning with a great idea, log on to HubPages, and forget your idea because you got lost in the forums.
...your HubPage profile URL is on your business cards.
...when asked how your day was, you go into an hour long disorientation on your latest hub.
...you pass up a paying article because you have a half-done hub that needs to be finished.
...instead of ordering McNuggets at McDonalds, you mistakenly order HubNuggets.
Ok, I'll stop there.
Spend more time flirting with women like Kim and Mighty Mom and Wendi and BC and HC and so forth then you do with your real world girlfriend . . . AND get more sexual gratification from it, too!
Ok, there's something seriously wrong with that. But, for the life of me, I just can't figure out what it is!

I have encountered a very poorly written hub, the spelling and grammar was bad and the sentences were incomprehensible. The hub has less than 300 words in total including the title (268 words exactly) and has more than 15 none-English words. I had to check the hubber profile; the hubber has 12...

I'm little bit confused. I wrote 7 articles, all of which are long and good quality contet, well illustrated, featured. Nevertheless in sum of all views in one month I got less than 200. Also only three people started following me and I never receive any kind of comments. Everything would be great...

I have read numerous hubs while hopping that I thought would be great if the writer did some editing or word smithing. I thought it would be nice to let people know that thier piece could be so much better with out trying to hurt anyones feelings. I have commented on a couple of pages...

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.
