When I turn it on, not only are ads blocked, but pages are blank too.
Has some change been made to the Hubpages code that causes the blocker to block the whole site?
It only seems to happen with Firefox. Chrome works fine.
Edge doesn't seem to work either.

Edit: Chrome actually doesn't work when I turn AdBlock off and turn it back on and refresh.

Wow!  It is probably because our articles are so stuffed with ads throughout that AdBlock Plus reads the whole article as an ad.

We seem to be having more and more problems lately. From sweeping bots to this. Very discouraging!

Everything is working okay on my end. Try it without using a VPN if you are using one.

No, I'm not using a VPN.
It seems to have been something to do with this ad setting in Chrome. I temporarily changed the setting to "allow" and refreshed the page of an article and it displayed OK. When I changed the setting back to "block" and refreshed, it still worked.

Edge is working again now too. Maybe Adblock fixed something.

Maybe this is why impressions are way down and views are not. People are reaching pages and it registers as a view, but they just can't see anything, even allowable ads are blocked?

Seeing the same thing. Page looks normal, then turn Adblock Plus on and everything vanishes. Just a slate of white.

    Hope this gets fixed soon.

I notified the AdBlock people, just in case the problem is at their end.

I always use Opera with an Adblocker enabled, and it does not show me any ads.

I'm not familiar with Opera. I use Google Chrome exclusively. Should I be switching back and forth?

When it comes to reading articles, Opera is much better than any other browser in my opinion. Opera also allows you to save webpages as PDF files. You can also directly save your hubs as pdf files using opera browser. In my opinion, it has far more smart features than any other browser. I enjoy using it. smile

I may check it out, Misbah. I write all of my articles in Word, then copy/paste to HP format. In so doing, I always have a permanent record of the original.

I don't like the idea of being able to save web pages as pdf. That may be how plagiarists get away with posting something as their own.

Aaah! Those plagiarists. I believe they can also copy/paste. smile
I usually save pdf files of my articles because I mostly write directly on HubPages and save it as a draft, or sometimes when I write poems, I use a diary, and after writing, I usually tear up the pages. I believe it is some kind of psychological disorder. Lol! ( thinking and laughing allowed wink ) So as I don’t use word and am unable to tear apart my hubs, saving them as pdf files is more convenient for me.smile

There are many types of web clipper available. From note-taking apps like Evernote and Notion, to markdown clippers, save-to-read-later. There's no getting away from it.

I use them for research all the time.

Pages are displaying OK again on Firefox. Edge and Chrome still display blank pages for sites.

I don't use the fire fox browser again. It seems to slow down my browsing experience.
Most of the time I use Opera.  But I make sure editing software like Grammarly is action on the browser to correct some flaws.
Google Chrome, which is my prefer browser is too slow to load. But is a good tool for my to finalized and check my writes.
Edge is even more good to load than Chrome.
