      Susan, I really enjoyed your courageous journey, following the pink ribbon-ed road.  You are a courageous soul and an inspiration to anyone that has and / or may encounter cancer in their lifetime.

            Were you not talking with someone else? I think Tony was trying to say "excuse me", as to not interrupt your conversation with the other person.

            Kinda like when you were offline and talking to someone, and someone rudely get into your conversation, without saying excuse me first.

            It's rude into interrupt someone's conversation. So he said, please excuse my rudeness.
