Just dropping by to say miss hubbing lately. we've been rehearsing every night for our upcoming musical play "Siddhartha: A musical journey to enlgihtenment" to Taiwan (Taipei and Kaoshiung) and we are mighty proud that an amateur group and our all Cebuano cast, crew, musical and artistic director is invited to perform in Taiwan this April 30. There are 70 of us who will be leaving and we are excited and anxious if it will go well. For one, it is an english play shown to a chinese speaking community. GULP LOL. So keeping our fingers crossed...you guys take care.
Wow that's going to be a real-cross cultural experience: have a fantastic time, nothing beats performing!
As we dancers would say, "break a leg".
(we consider it bad luck to send good wishes before a performance!)
It's one minute before midnight and just got home after rehearsals. Whew. Can I sneak in the forums before I rest before the night? Hehe The director made us do irreverent acting...we had to do our part outrageously just for tonight. And we had a blast. That made it super fun and really funny.
Thanks everyone. We are truly looking forward to this experience.
I'll echo what others have said: good luck ripplemaker!
Hi Pete, do you know one of our students is Zoe? And I remembered you. thanks for your wishes.
Michelle, break a leg and hope it is a wonderful trip. I wish I could hop on a plane and come watch!
All the best to you Michelle, and most of all...Have fun! I am sure you will all be wonderful. Have a great trip.
Yes, good luck. I know what you mean, I haven't been around for a while and I feel like I'm out of the loop. I didn't know how much I missed it until I was back.
Break a leg...
Hi Diana, we've been warned : the food in the temple is all vegetarian... as Lissie said, it is going to be a real cross-cultural experience. Thanks...I will make sure I will have fun!
Peter, sometimes I just sneak in around to read a bit and then leave... hubpages does seem to grow on you, does it? It's because of the wonderful people here. (sniff sniff sniffle)
Thanks Ben! Welcome to hubpages. If you have the heart and the mind just like these guys, you would LOVE it here.
Funride! Hows the wrist? Hope you are ok. Thank you for missing me... that's sweet of you. A big huggy huggy.... I promise to dance like no one is watching, sing in blazing glory...AND live to tell the tale.
Do you remember that other Zoe who was my student last summer, Teacher Michelle? She was such a funny 3-year old. I gave her a task she could do on her own while I attended to other students, and while she was at it suddenly burst out singing "All by myself... don't wanna be..." with matching facial expression!
Hi teacher susan (we finally caught each other in the forums.) Yes, I remember your sharing...that made me laugh out loud Hmmm (reflecting...) I guess that's how we feel sometimes amidst the crowd huh?
Haha! I know, sometimes there are moments when I feel alone in the middle of a crowd and I just want to belt out that song, too. Hehehe... See you in school, tich.
Tomorrow is the big day. All my bags are packed and I am ready to go. NOw its time to get a good nights rest. Thank you for the best wishes...break a leg kind of a thing. Off we go...
Break two legs, tich! Logically speaking, breaking more legs means more good luck, doesn't it?
dunno tich we have to ask marissa! Well lets just pretend it is so...tich, thanks for taking care of the office while Stella and I are away. Do take care.
Don't you dare freak out! I believe Richard will freak out first. most esp. if nica will consume more sketch pads.
And add Lance sleeping all the time and Desi pooping every day. Sounds like Richard is going to have his hands full. Hahaha!
Tich, i just posted something in the silly story...do continue it...i just read your re-cap..its quite a silly story...reminded me of our game last christmas party
good night momma cat... yawn..its time for me to hit the bed too. I have to be up by 2 am. thanks again and take care.
You go Girl! Give them the performance that they are not going to forget!

It's been (I think) 2 years since I last published a hub here. Before that I was really active here. So, I'm thinking of going back to publishing hubs but....I see so many changes and I don't know if I can keep up with all of them plus keep up with the stress in my current work.Any advice?
