Hello Hubbers, are you ready for the last week of the Eat, Drink, and Be Hubbalicious Contest?

For the last week of June we are going to be mirroring the contest topic and we will be writing about World Cuisines.  This is the perfect time for you to give the world plenty of information about your gastronomic culture.  Tell us about your country's gastronomic history, origins, most common ingredients, during what time of the year are certain dishes prepared, regional variations... come on, there is so much to say about your country's cuisine!  Make us all hungry and wanting to adventure to taste your gastronomic heritage.

The subtopics for this week's World Cuisines HubMob, categorized per day for those taking part in the contest are:

Tuesday, June 22: Central Asian or South Asian cuisine.
Wednesday, June 23: Central, Northern and Eastern European or Western European or Southern European
Thursday, June 24: Central American or South American
    Friday, June 25: Southeast Asian
    Saturday, June 26: East Asian
Sunday, June 27: Middle Eastern or East African
Monday, June 28: Fusion or Creole

Please if you are entering the HubMob as well as the contest, make sure to categorize your hub under the right category for that day.

To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:

    1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK.  Choose the Answer the Request green button.  Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.

    2. Choose a relevant category and title for your Hub

    3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/56800/hubm … ew&rss
For more information on how to add the RSS feed to your hub you can click here

    4. Add one of the two HubMob graphics to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.

    http://i43.tinypic.com/rup3mg.jpg

    5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.  Take advantage of the free publicity!

If you are still not sure about what is a HubMob and the benefits of taking part in one I created this guide http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-HubMo … o-join-one  please feel free to come up with any questions if you have any doubts left.

(Money Glitch - this one is a little hard! I stared at a blank monitor for awhile for the graphic, and I have not come up with any great ideas for a hub -YET lol )

This has been a fun month!

So far nobody has called me out about the minor typo - I saw that it says "cuisine" instead of "cuisines" but it was too late to repair it. hee hee

I just wanted to thank Princessa and the whole hubmob team, as my hub on "Lamb Kebab Recipes" has been nominated for the "Best hub of the week". I surely believe that writing hubs through hubmob is helping me to get a wider viewership as I am very new to the Hubland. Thanks so much for this platform, I am really excited and feel motivated. Reminder everyone!  Recipes are not the primary focus this week. I pulled the statements below from Jason's forum post:

This week should focus on the cuisines as a whole, not recipes (that was last week). That can certainly include a recipe or two to round out the subject, but the treatment should be more comprehensive.

Looks like I may be able to write a hub for this hubmob! So, if I write about Israeli food and/or hummus, I have to publish the hub/s tomorrow, right? Otherwise they don't count towards the hubmob?

You'd have to publish tomorrow after 12 noon Pacific time to be eligible for the contest.  Check the contest page for other eligibility rules, such as country.

        http://hubpages.com/topics/food/1491

You can publish anytime this week for HubMob.  If you start the hub through Princessa's link, publish after noon tomorrow, and meet contest eligibility requirements, your hub will be HubMob and contest eligible.
